Does that even make sense with the current transaction times and fees? You are going to pay more for the fees than for your meal. Unless the fees go down drastically, it makes no sense to use bitcoin as a daily payment method.
I agree, it would all be useless if the fees are bigger than the amount you will be paying in addition that transaction would take 1 week to confirm. Or at least they have different wallet option where we can send the payment. |

That will be great. But, in fact the transaction fees needs to be reduced considerably before we can start using bitcoin as a normal currency. I hear somewhere eBay is going to integrate bitcoin payment in to its platform. But, there is very less chance for this news to be true. When this happen in the right and convenient way , then it will be a revolution.

Well soon not only few will aknowledge bitcoin as payment method i guess.. So many possibilities to haPpen especially now bitcoin nowadays getting viral and people get interested into even businessman/high profile individual involved now on bitcoin.

McDonalds will accept bitcoin as a payment but how about the fees, then? Even though it's convenient on our side but there are fees to be paid. So an order of McDonalds will give us a doubled amount if we are gonna use bitcoin as payment? Could this be possible though?

wow! that's great coz many bitcoin user will be benefitted from it like us who love to eat at McDonalds so it would be easier and hassle free for us and soon the other companies will just follow so bitcoin will be use as medium of exchange instead of using money. |

It makes sense since we are now in a modernized world where every transaction is in online therefore it is a great beginning for us to adapt this kind of ways in buying online. Our goal is to make bitcoin acceptable in our country then it is a big step to make it possible. This will be very great if bitcoin will used as currency to buy food and for those who are holding their coins or have coins in their wallets will enjoy a serious benefit of bitcoin and I think this should start soon and McDonalds is taking a great step and they will be pioneer in their field in adopting bitcoin and this is convention that pioneers get blessed more than others and by seeing footsteps of other franchises will come in. |

This is certainly very wonderful idea, I sometimes visit mcdonald and it was two times when I forgot to take money with me and at that moment I could use payment method via bitcoins, because it's very convenient and it's impossible to lose bitcoins, unlike real money. Also mcdonald will bring great fame and success to bitcoins and even more people will be able to learn about bitcoins and start using them. So I think that this is great chance for bitcoin become even more powerful.

Bitcoin needs to lower their transactions fees for this to happen. Otherwise another coin will be accepted.

Well I am not really agree with that. If you tell me any other company name I can consider but this bloody capitalist poisonous food seller is not. It is impossible for a company like macdonalds to accept btc for regular meals no doubt if they will let btc among their billing option what about us how we will pay the tax more than our bill that will be like paying a waiter more instead of paying for good food to the restuarant

Wow! maybe there are chance that this will happen but this will not be very easy ofcourse but come to think of it, how will that happen, how we are going to pay, do we need cards like ATM, credit cards, something like that? or do we need still to open our computer or smartphone for the transaction of the money? so many questions yet there's no answer to it yet.
