By the way I am the victim of identity theft, I do not owe anyone anything.

Nice one.

If this DI kid was smart he'd pay $20 for the debt himself and bury it lol.

If I was in the UK I'd be on this but alas.  Good luck with the auction anyway

I believe this is just under half of what he owes.

And for that reason, anyone owing debt would be excluded from bidding.

I'm surprised this is still only at $15 - this is a bargain for any local or resourceful individual.

Not really.

I the UK, there's almost no chance of recovering this legally.

There are many ways to collect this debt legally, including a settlement with DI or his father, who is an engineer, or court proceedings.

There is also a good possibility that tealover will come back and repay his BTC0.5 which would cover the current bid amount.

But he will always just say he can't pay it, he doesn't have the money.

You can't harass him out of it because there are laws protecting him from getting phone calls or you showing up at his doorstep.

There are many ways to collect without harrassment. DI communicated with me freely regarding the situation and offered to return to this forum to resolve the issue. Assets are easily provable with his public Facebook page.

3 hours left. Payment needs to be made within 72 hours. I will forward all correspondance and documentation to the winner after payment along with a few collection strategies I have thought of.

Great price. I contacted a few businesses about this. Only two got back to me. 1 said they could not do it because the debt was made a very long time ago and don't like virtual currencies.
The other one said they would need to look into it further and maybe contact previous owners of the loan. But, being Bitcoin it would be hard because previous owners of the debt may not want to disclose any of their personal information. But, they said other than that they could do it.
