Was wondering the possibilities of switching to a more secure chain such as UBQ? Why I mention this is because of the various issues ETH runs into often because they're so focused on the next thing instead of making sure their current thing is even secure enough to function unharmed while UBQ is the opposite
The reason is popularity.
It would be better to use Bitcoin as number 1 coin, but we need smart conracts.
And people will not go to the unknown network.

so what is the plan now ICO is end ?
ICO Stage 1 is closed. ICO Stage 2 will be right after the Alpha release. We are focused on the development.
No exact date is set so far. STE become tradeable right after the end of the ICO.
We should add 1-2 months from the platform release in Q1 2018.
In case of quick ICO there would be no such delay.

Warning! There is a fishing site immitating STeX.Exchange on Google!
Please note that the only official site to get STEX address to buy STE tokens is
https://stex.exchange

What is the address of that site so we know that it's the fake one? Thanks.

UBQ provides smart contracts and most people can't even use ETH's network right now due to the congestion and there's another possible hardfork coming up to reverse the parity exploit.

Also most people don't even care what the network is, that's not a factor. Functionality is their concern

You do have a point, but I don't necessarily think it's all true.

Functionality matters, that is very true. But popularity is equally, if not more important.
I, for one, have never heard of UBQ and it might be a better network than ETH. But I know and have used ETH, it's widely available and a lot of ICOs have been run successfully on ETH. That makes me trust the network a lot.. maybe even before a network that technically is better.

It's like with Bitcoin. There are lots of coins way more effective as a payment vehicle than Bitcoin. Still, it's massive popularity wins over the crowd.

The only official site to get STEX address to buy STE tokens is https://stex.exchange
or any subdomain like https://subdomain.stex.exchange
Any other site trying to sell you the STE is fake.

Can you provide links for UBQ that provides the same services as etherscan.io and myetherwallet?
What is the wallet app for UBQ for mac and ubuntu?

Q: Sorry couple more questions. Let’s say I’m a presale investor with 20,000 STE and eligible for the 20% bonus distribution from commissions. Do, I have to hold all 20k STE or can I sell some and still be eligible for the 20%? Also, if I buy more STE in the open market later in the future, my 20% will still be calculated on the original 20k STE?

A: We have a special bonus pool of 20% commissions for those who never sold their STE tokens. If you sell part of you tokens and buy it back, this part will not be receiving 20% bonus anymore, just a share of the rest 80%. Those token that never been sold, on the other hand, will continue receiving growing share of 20% bonus pool. This bonus should encourage token holders to keep them after ICO as long-term investors.

Please note that we distribute 100% commissions excluding expenses anyway, and if you sell and buy STE tokens, you still be receiving a share of 80% commissions. Just losing bonus.

What marketing strategy will you use to take 5% of the foreign exchange market after the first year of operation?
We will provide better liquidity, very small bid/ask spread, and thousands of direct coin-to-coin cross-rates.
Plus comission-free trades.
Can you resist this offer?
The rest is marketing.

Sure it will.
We already launched a playground for that at https://gateway.stex.exchange and in a month will populate it with more nodes, so many cross-rates will be available.

How many tokens you will issue every month, if you take only 2% of the foreign exchange market?
STE tokens has limited supply of 100,000,000 distributed during the ICO, but we expect it to be around 50-60m.
Once the ICO is over, the rest will be burned. No STE tokens can be ussied after the ICO.

The A2A technology will brings thousands of cross-rates.
STeX will aggregate liquidity from many other exchanges in ONE place.
Plus derivatives.
Plus leverage.
Plus short trades.
From single trading account

Does Stex exchange have much more advantages than what is being developed by the others at the moment?
We have detailed comparison of STeX and it's competitors in the projects whitepaper:
https://stex.exchange/media/pdf/whitepaper.pdf
No one offers thousands of cross-rates.
