To answer your PM (in the thread, because it's a good question): The price will be about $10 US, varying a bit depending on how you pay, if you include shipping, etc. It will cost a little more if you buy from Amazon, because they take a big slice of the payment amount, but it may be worth it as a buyer if you have Amazon Prime (because you'll get free 2-day shipping in the U.S.). Non-Amazon orders will be shipped via USPS First-Class mail.

About $10, depending how you pay (better deal with BTC), where it ships, etc. Exact pricing will be on the order page, which will go live after I've received and reviewed the keychains (hopefully within 24 hours).

It was exciting to just receive my box of new Bitcoin keychains! I'm so relieved, they came out exactly as intended! Below are two photos taken on my driveway in direct midday sunlight.

The 1 BTC Casascius coin in the first photo is for referencing color and size (only the 1-3/8" diameter brass-plated keychain is being sold). The second photo shows a pile of 50 keychains (it weighs well over 2 pounds).

Hope to have sales live at Bkeychain.com soon! And hope to get back to all PMs after that, right now I'm focused on getting several sales channels deployed and the sales-enabled site with actual product photos launched (the image currently at the site is just a mock-up).

Shipping outside the U.S. may be delayed a couple days, as I work out an issue I've had repeatedly using the most economical international shipping method for other products.

Bkeychain.com is now updated, and on the Buy page you can purchase with Bitcoin, PayPal, or Amazon.

Right now it's USA only, but we'll start international shipping soon.

Thanks!

Based on your helpful suggestions, and the overall need to improve the site (it was put together rather quickly), I'll hopefully have a very updated site up in the next few days. In the meantime, here are some more photos of the keychains (the more I look at the first photos, the more I dislike them):

Just randomly selected your post to win a free Bitcoin Keychain (see my original post for details). I got your PM saying your account had been hacked, so I'm not sure if you even made this post. But this was the randomly selected post, so please PM your mailing address (you or your hacker???) and I'll send out the keychain. If I don't hear back from you, I'll move on to another randomly selected post.

Hopefully just a couple of days, at most. Unfortunately, the Keychain is just bulky enough that it won't qualify in a letter at the letter rate, so the cost is a lot more to ship than I had hoped.

Thanks! And I did get them listed on CoinGig, for anyone interested in buying with BTC, and having the safety of escrow!

I just updated the site, and added international shipping options, so hopefully that will help a few people who asked me when that would happen:

http://bkeychain.com

I'm sure there will be more site tweaking and possibly adjustments to shipping prices, but I didn't want to keep those waiting in other countries waiting too long. The size of the keychains makes them just a bit expensive to ship internationally.

Are you paying with paypal? If yes you just need to enter zip code or select your country and click on calculate.

You're not stupid, it's a bit confusing in some places. Are you using the Bitcoin/Bitpay checkout? Can you tell me where you're getting stuck?

You don't have to add the shipping price manually, your shipping price should be added and visible before you get to your final checkout.

Feel free to email me (see the contact page on the site) if you are having continued trouble. We could also just email back and forth to get me the shipping info I need, and send you an address to pay (if you're paying with BTC).

Thanks!

Yes, I am using Bitpay. I didn't go through with the order since the first screen showed the sum without shipping, but perhaps it will all be clear if I click through it. I'll catch some sleep first and then perhaps I can think straight. This Bitcoin thing is bad for my circadian rhythm.

Yeah, the built-in checkout with BitPay is lacking. I was hoping to get by without having to research and implement a 3rd party cart, but it may end up being the way to go. BitPay seems to push using 3rd party carts, as they work on getting their built-in cart refined.

Anyway, I'm not about to run out of keychains today, so take your time. I also think people are concerned because they are sending Bitcoin, and that seems so irreversible. But I, my business, and BitPay are all reputable and looking to provide customer satisfaction. So if you pay and realize something isn't right, just reach out using the contact page.

I'm really happy to hear that, thanks for posting!

Today was my neighbor's birthday, and I gave him a paper wallet, funded with .25 BTC, and a Bitcoin keychain (sort of a cobbled-together, poor-man's .25 Casascius). I like to promote the idea of giving Bitcoin for birthdays and other occasions, when a gift is typically called for. I figure it helps spread Bitcoin awareness, and who knows, perhaps that little gift of BTC will end up being quite valuable in years to come!

::purchased from CryptoAnarchy.com::

The USD equivalent price did vary between my blockchain.info wallet and the Bitpay checkout. Is this a normal thing due to the fluctuation of BTC? Not complaining, more interested for future reference than anything else.

Thanks and I'm looking forward to this keychain! I'm very particular about what I keep on my keychain (recently Kickstarted a metal minimalist keychain wallet). I've been wanting something round (and coinlike?), can't stand the car loyalist keychains they've been selling at the carwash gift shops for 20 years. This will be perfect.

Thanks so much! I really wanted to make a coin-like keychain, and I'm glad that my sensibility resonates with others. I attached a photo of the keychain looking very coin-like.

I haven't researched exactly how BitPay and Blockchain.info calculate the exchange rate, but I think Blockchain is showing you a rate based on the exact current price (possibly the last trade on a particular exchange?), whereas I believe BitPay factors in some longer price averages and weights the prices at multiple exchanges (reducing volatility a bit). BitPay seems like a very trustworthy company with very fair policies, so whatever the explanation is for the different rates, I'm sure it's solid.

Please let me know if you're happy with the keychain, and if you get it promptly from cryptoanarchy.com

Thanks!

Im so jealous, Ive gone as far as to post some images of my goods on free imagebanks online with credits to use freely, but havent seen a single taker so far. I mean comeon Casascius coins are cool but the articles really need more diverse images!

Im so jealous, Ive gone as far as to post some images of my goods on free imagebanks online with credits to use freely, but havent seen a single taker so far. I mean comeon Casascius coins are cool but the articles really need more diverse images!

Yeah, it was amazingly lucky! Pinguino (the photographer) said her creative commons images are used a lot online, so that may have helped. Have you done any image searches to be sure yours haven't been used?

I have, but no luck so far. One thing I need to be honest about tough is that the photographs I have available for my goods are not professional.. it's getting better but not there yet.

Bitcoin trinkets now on my online store: btc trinkets.com <- Bitcoin Tiepins, cufflinks, lapel pins, keychains, card holders and challenge coins.

I would encourage you to buy one. I bought one and I'm happy with it. Durable, looks great, and pairs nicely with my car key. I'm thinking I'm going to have buy more. A keychain ain't much so I must like it a lot to be taking a minute of my time to endorse it. Smiley

I agree that too, but anyway the Penguin Bitcoin keychain is for sure a good cute keychain. A bit lighter than metals. I hang it on my wallet so instead of showing my key, i show my wallet. LOOK MA! BITYCOINS!

Considering that i've got my keychain from Isokivi (wonder what shipping to Hong Kong is cheap in Finland but not US), i guess i wont get a new keyring in the short future. But guys, you are really creative

Thanks 001sonkit. Yeah, different keychains for different people. I think this is the heaviest that has been mass-produced (I've also seen wood ones, 3D-printed ones, etc., so I'm not sure what those weigh). If you want something light, the two options I think of first are the penguin and Jon Waller's keychains:
http://btctrinkets.com/presta2/index.php?id_product=9&controller=product
http://cryptoanarchy.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=64&product_id=125

Note that ALL of our keychains can be repurposed as necklaces, placed on a pet's collars, etc.

The use of these keychains as stock photography in Bitcoin articles continues to blow my mind. Thanks again to Pinguino for enabling the first media use of a photo of these keychains.

Loving these.

Send coindesk some large decent images to use - 1024x768 minimum, and will add to archive. Will link to the store / seller or here with credit. I like the one with the PCB background Smiley

While Amazon doesn't take Bitcoin, I believe both the other online retailers do accept Bitcoin (and not Fiat). If you get to the checkout process, and don't see it's BTC that's accepted, please let me know and I'll get you taken care of.

No problem! I realized when I went to the links, it is not clear that you pay in BTC. Please let me know if you're happy with the product, and if the store you order from gets the keychain to you promptly.

Thanks The 4ner, I like your animated GIF! Wink

It's been so exciting for me to see photos of these keychains used almost daily on various websites, including at least 4 different photos that have been used in 4 articles on CoinDesk.com! I genuinely appreciate everyone's support and interest, and I hope you'll keep supporting CryptoAnarchy.com (ships from USA) and BTCtrinkets.com (ships from EU) to buy these keychains and other fun Bitcoin collectibles -- both stores only accept BTC. For those in the USA who don't have much Bitcoin and don't want to part with it, you can also use fiat to buy on Amazon.com (but it costs a bit more than if you buy with BTC at one of the mentioned online shops -- I like to encourage actual use of Bitcoin). Links to all are at bkeychain.com.

It's been so rewarding creating these keychains and bringing them to Bitcoin Meetups, that I not only have a second run of Bitcoin Keychains being manufactured right now, but I've also got a complimentary Litecoin keychain that just went into production. For someone who can't code his way out of a paper bag, this has been a fun way for me to be more involved in the community.

To anyone attending tomorrow's Los Angeles Bitcoin Meetup, I'll be there with these Bitcoin Keychains for sale (I'll be wearing one around my neck). More info at Bkeychain.com.

This looks to be the biggest Bitcoin event in Los Angeles to date, and there will be a panel that includes Tony Gallippi of BitPay, Vinny Lingham of Gyft, and Travis Skweres of CoinMKT.com.

I believe the online stores selling these keychains use mainstream ecommerce solutions to manage the checkout experience. Most of these ecommerce packages have only recently added Bitcoin integration (via BitPay), so they probably ask for all the info they're used to asking for with legacy payment systems, even if some info (such as payment address) isn't necessary for Bitcoin payments. Hope that makes sense, I don't think you need to be concerned.

Feel free to contact me if you don't receive your order promptly.

Thanks NewLiberty and Escrow.MS for chiming in.

BTW, an image of this keychain was just used on PBS.org (the national Public Television network in the U.S.)!

I was overjoyed to hear my keychains brought two people to our Los Angeles Bitcoin Meetup last night, and helped spread belief in Bitcoin! How did that happen? One of the meetup organizers had a Bitcoin keychain on his keyring, and a person noticed it when they were both at a coffee house. The person asked about the keychain, and that lead to a discussion about bitcoin. The organizer told the person about the meetup, so the new person came and also brought a friend who was visiting for a few days. The friend knew nothing about Bitcoin, but after the meetup, she is now a convert, and returning to her home in China as such.

Glad to hear it. Do you want to mention which store you bought it from, since it sounds like they should get some credit for the extras included in your shipment? There's more than one seller of these keychains, so I have no clue who you purchased from.

It was the EU shop, it wasn't anything extra, but I really like the poststamps and hand writing and customs things, becouse we don't have shit like that no more in the NL, if you know what I mean, this envelope is a keeper.

I don't kjnow if you did that but the thing was packed in bubbelwrap and foam, pretty good job right there!

Sometimes this gets overdone.  There was this one order of private minted coppers that came back from China individually wrapped....in paper... by hand...

Amazon sold out of these keychains today. You can still order on Amazon, but for the time being, they will actually ship from us (admittedly, we do not offer cheap shipping). I just shipped Amazon a bunch more keychains, so Amazon Prime members will again able to take advantage of free 2-day shipping by sometime next week.

But forget about Amazon, you'll get the best deals by paying with Bitcoin, when you buy from one of these stores (don't let the process fool you, you will pay in Bitcoin at the end when you check out):
Ships from USA: http://cryptoanarchy.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=64&product_id=131
Ships from EU: http://btctrinkets.com/presta2/index.php?id_product=23&controller=product
Both these shops have lots of other goodies that may interest you.

New Litecoin Keychains, more info coming next week!

While I know the Litecoin market is smaller than the Bitcoin market, I figure Litecoiners might also like a very affordable physical representation to show off their cryptocurrency passion. Of course, there's the AMAZING Lealana physical Litecoins, but I figured a less-expensive coin-like Litecoin Keychain might be of interest. Here's a pic of both the silver-plated Litecoin keychain and brass-plated Bitcoin keychain.

bitcoins keychain was awesome but now with new Litecoins you are rocking just outclass work by you hope very soon I have a order for you for these keychains  Grin

I'm going to need more too.  Holidays are coming and these keychains also make good ornaments and gifts, every stocking and tree should have at least one!
Think of all the people you know that need one.
Here's one for your pinky, also good as Hanukkah geld:  Wink

Sorry, couldn't resist that.

Thanks everyone! NewLiberty, you made me laugh! I do think the Holiday season will be a good time to be giving gifts of cryptocurrency and associated products. I may need to get a few more of your silver coins, for those on my list who deserve a little more than a keychain.

For anyone desperate to own a Litecoin Keycain quickly, it is now available on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G10SR5S/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00G10SR5S&linkCode=as2&tag=papercl-20

Might be a couple of days before I have a page up to buy with Bitcoin checkout. Litecoin payments will be a little trickier to implement, I've still got to figure that out. If anyone is desperate to own a Litecoin keychain and pay with BTC or LTC, feel free to PM me, and we can work it out.

For Bitcoin Keychains, I still would like to direct people to CryptoAnarchy.com (U.S.) and BTCtrinkets.com (EU), who only accept Bitcoin. Amazon is a third option, but if you are an Amazon Prime member, you should wait until next week, when they'll have a new batch to fulfill themselves (free 2-day shipping for Amazon Prime members).

Why can't we buy some from you?

Are you talking Bitcoin or Litecoin keychains? I've tried to support my Bitcoin Keychain retailers by not actively selling them retail myself (other than via Amazon, as that channel is pretty powerful for fiat buyers). But I do not yet have Litecoin keychain retailers in place, so I will be selling those myself, at least until I can get some online stores to carry them.

But the bottom line is, my life and day-job keep me super-busy, and I've found I get pretty stressed when I add the responsibility of fulfilling keychain orders. So I prefer to offload online retail sales to businesses that specialize in it. I make dramatically less profit that way, but I've decided the trade-off is necessary to keep my stress levels at check. Hope that makes sense. If I had spare time in my life, I would try to fulfill every keychain myself, and make several times the profit on every keychain, vs. wholesale! But my life is so busy, it's a bit sad... Someday I'd love to have time to watch a couple of episodes of Breaking Bad, and see what everyone is talking about.

I'm available by PM if anyone really wants to buy either of these products direct. It's not something I'm pushing, but I also want to make these products available to people.

Just to update, Amazon.com has these Bitcoin Keychains back in stock. So if you're an Amazon Prime member, it's free 2-day shipping in the U.S. (or free with orders over $35).
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DJWEVHE/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00DJWEVHE&linkCode=as2&tag=papercl-20

However, with Bitcoin's nice gains lately, perhaps paying in BTC from either of these stores makes more sense?
Ships from USA: http://cryptoanarchy.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=64&product_id=131
Ships from EU: http://btctrinkets.com/presta2/index.php?id_product=23&controller=product

Our new Litecoin Keychains are available at http://Lkeychain.com, and will soon also be fulfilled on Amazon.com.

This is a lesson for everyone.  If you like it, you probably know others who will as well.
Get the good stuff by the handful.

Someday I may get down to a single key chain, but that won't be soon.

Thanks NewLiberty, again for your support. I think our products will be something good for cryptocurrency lovers to give (and receive) for the holidays!

I was happy to see a new photo of my Bitcoin Keychain used on PBS.org.
http://www.pbs.org/newshour/rundown/2013/10/mans-forgotten-27-bitcoin-investment-yields-886000.html

This photo is fairly low-profile, because I tweaked the "curves" in Photoshop, to give the image a different vibe. So most people will probably never connect this photo with the keychains. Regardless, it makes my day to see these keychain images used to represent Bitcoin in various articles. I also love the enormous amount of mainstream attention paid to Bitcoin lately, regarding Silk Road, the Bitcoin ATM in Vancouver, and the huge payoff for someone who took a chance on Bitcoin (as seen at the link above). I wouldn't be surprised if we see a new all-time BTC high in coming weeks, which should bring more mainstream attention and more people.

Yay!
I got it, and the letter where it was in has some awesome things on it, like stamps, customs things and handwrote my name and addres, I luv fair buisness!

BTW, it is awesome, now I got something to brag about...

That would be one of mine, I overdo the packing a bit, but thats based on experience, modern fully automated postal sorting machines are quite ferocious when you send items in envelopes Smiley
Some sort of shipping lable printer is in my list of things to buy when the alternative is to pay more taxes instead of them, looks like next year I'll get to make some investments in to my business for tax optimisation purposes.

Bitcoin trinkets now on my online store: btc trinkets.com <- Bitcoin Tiepins, cufflinks, lapel pins, keychains, card holders and challenge coins.

I agree, and not just for the keychains themselves (which would be a good enough reason), also this is a great example of a simple product that everyone needs, well made, presented professionally, effectively marketed.  It is a good example for anyone who is looking to become part of the bitcoin economy.  People could learn a lot from just seeing how it is done here.

I truly appreciate the kinds words. My background is design (mostly for print), but my more recent past was marketing an iDevice accessory I invented. So, using my existing skill-set, I tried to create and market a product I thought was respectful to Bitcoin, and that would appeal to Bitcoiners. I thought a substantial, coin-like keychain with simple retail packaging (with a functional UPC code and all) would be a nice extra touch. I didn't have a sense many were going that extra mile with their Bitcoin products yet.

Selling keychains is hardly a way to get rich, but it is a great way to be involved, experience Bitcoin commerce (retail and wholesale), experiment with merchant service providers like BitPay, and just feel the warm glow of people saying they like the product! Of course, getting paid in an appreciating currency is pretty nice!

Anyway, thanks again. Hope everyone is enjoying their keychains.

Big thanks to whoever chooses the photos for The Daily Dot! Nice to both the Bitcoin and Litecoin keychains used in an article about yesterday's senate hearings.

If you hold Bitcoin or Litecoin, these keychains are getting dramatically cheaper all the time (in BTC or LTC). Original post has all the details for purchasing.

I do constantly envy the free publicity the keychains get, I have free to use aslong as you mention the source photos of my goods available on flickr, I've seen a couple of users, but nothing as major as you have managed to snag. I'm so spoiled now! Although I still get a rush every time I see an article with one of these photos, I've now become envious of Antana Coins, as they are now ruling it! I'm not sure I understand exactly how the choices are made on which photos are selected for these online articles, but email me if you want to discuss my theories. Hope the keychain sales (and all your sales) are going well!

BitPappa,

I LOVE your product.  I was just wondering if you considered making a run of these with customized QR codes on them?  It would be so incredibly awesome to have a receive address on my keychain.  My friends and I use a lot of crypto-currensies, and I know a bunch of people who would also love this.

P.S.  I'm thinking about ordering a Litecoin one off of Amazon, I guess you'll know which way I'm leaning if you ship one in the next day or so to MI 48350.  Grin

P.S.S.  You should put up more pictures of the Litecoin keychain.

Sorry if the Bitcoin keychains seems pricey, hyperdallas. My primary goal was for keychain resellers (CryptoAnarchy.com and BTCTrinkets.com) to have the best prices on the keychains. These sites only accept Bitcoin, and I want to increase people actually buying stuff with Bitcoin. The more people who actually use Bitcoin for day-to-day commerce (not just speculating and trading), I think the more legitimate Bitcoin becomes. I also want to support these merchants in general. Anyway, you still might think the keychains are pricey, but that's why they cost 20% more on Amazon.

bmoconno, I appreciate your thoughts, a lot of people have asked about custom QR codes. I think the only economically feasible way to do this would be with 3D printing (and for metals, even that isn't super-cheap). But I'll take this opportunity to do some market research: How much would you pay for an all-metal keychain with your own public key QR code?

Per your request, here's another photo of the Litecoin keychains (photos of these keychains have now been used on CoinDesk.com and DailyDot.com!). But I'm trying not to push the Litecoin keychains too much on this Bitcoin thread (I am also waiting for a deal to finalize, before really pushing them).

BitPappa,

Thanks for the additional picture!  Order placed!  Grin

As for your question,  I'd be willing to pay ~$1 over the Amazon price if the back had an inset square with a high quality QR sticker, and I'd see paying an additional $4-6 over Amazon price if it was all metal.

Thanks for your input and your order! The sticker idea (or something like a Bitcoin locket, but with a QR code instead of a photo you put in yourself) have both swirled in my brain a lot.

I think it's economically impossible to create one-off all-metal keychains at a price close to the price-point that would work for you.

I just wanted you kind supporters to know that sales of these keychains seem to be steadily increasing. I'd like to think that represents a steadily-increasing user base of Bitcoiners (and cryptocurrency users in general).

Here's a new sampling of these keychains used online, since my last update:

The crazed growth of Bitcoin Keychain sales seems to have leveled off. Was it people buying them for Christmas presents? Or do sales rise and fall with the price of Bitcoin? I guess we'll see going forward.

That's an interesting question.  My purchase was definitely more about how awesome they look, but I found myself spending a lot more BTC (in general) when it was above $1,000.

Ha, that sure flies in the face of critics who say no one will spend Bitcoin if it's appreciating in value. Clearly, if we're getting more wealth from holding Bitcoin, we'll have more ability to spend our wealth! And as our wealth decreases, we tighten our belts. And thanks for the compliment on the keychains!

The use of the keychains photos by media has been another interesting study. At one point, someone at Business Insider tweaked one of my keychain images, making it somewhat monochromatic. For some reason, that image has caught on, and I've seen many website reuse Business Insider's tweaked image. I guess whoever chooses the images to run with the articles/blog posts decides to just borrow images from other websites, as long as they see creative commons licensing listed. Entrepreneur is the latest to recycle this image (link below), and I do find it strange to see this one tweaked image reused so much.

I just laughed out loud to see that VentureBeat used a photo I took of a Bitcoin keychain under my dog's paw. I have no clue why they used this photo (the article is about Overstock.com planning to accept Bitcoin), and I never really expected the image to be used, unless there was a news story relating animals to Bitcoin. The funniest part was I was browsing articles on the ZeroBlock app while walking my dog when I stumbled upon the article.

BitPappa,

I LOVE your product.  I was just wondering if you considered making a run of these with customized QR codes on them?  It would be so incredibly awesome to have a receive address on my keychain.  My friends and I use a lot of crypto-currensies, and I know a bunch of people who would also love this.
Thanks to an idea from NewLiberty on how to economically add custom QR codes to these keychains, this is something that I believe will be happening soon! Stay tuned...

While many have asked for a custom QR code, your request may have been what actually got the idea to move forward. So please PM me a public key and a mailing address, and yours will be one of the first I send out (free, as a thanks).

Thanks for your feedback. I don't want to guesstimate on the custom QR code pricing before I have it solidified. But I hope to have it all figured on in the next 1-2 weeks.

Sorry it's taking so long to get the customized Bitcoin keychain biz launched. While I thought the imaging process was perfected, I learned during our test production run that there were still some rough edges to work out… But it does seems we've finally got it figured out. And I'm talking to some potential partners about doing a lot more than just customizing these keychains, so as we work out more details, it still may take a little while before I/we launch the customized keychain biz.

If anyone is eager to get a customized keychains, and just can't wait, send an email to: custom-btc@papercliprobot.com (or PM me), and I may be able to include you in some pre-launch runs. We can print your public key QR code, your B&W business logo, your Gliph, whatever suits your fancy.

I'll crosspost this in the custom thread too (please follow that thread if you really want to keep up on the customized Bitcoin keychains, since this thread is really about the standard Bitcoin keychains): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=399074.0

One of my favorite pictures of these.

These keychains are also a form or esoteric currency of their own.  I bummed a ride back to where I was staying from a friendly bitcoiner who went out of his way to be nice and wouldn't accept any payment (even though he saved me an hour wait and a $30 taxi ride).  He DID accept the bkeychain though.  So it is currency in ways that even bitcoin isn't.  His delivering me with his car was proof of work, and having a car was proof of stake...
OK, that last bit was silly, but I haven't had my coffee yet.

Sorry, but I wasn't satisfied with the durability of the printed image on our customized keychains (it get's pretty beat-up being part of an actively-used keychain). We are working on a more durable product, I'll make it known once they are available for purchase.

We have a new online retailer selling these Bitcoin keychains (and our Litecoin keychains too), CryptoMemorabilia.com. They accept dozens of different cryptos, with payment processing by CoinPayments.net.

Here's the store: http://www.cryptomemorabilia.com/shop
Here are accepted coins: https://www.coinpayments.net/supported-coins

CryptoMemorabilia.com is located in the U.S., and they ship internationally.

Payd 0.10 at the time but was worth every penny Smiley

Well, I finally unwrapped the keychain and it seems really sturdy, so good job on that. I really like that weight and all. So once again, good job. Grin

Thanks, I'm glad this substantial keychain woks for you! Once in awhile someone asks if we make a smaller keychain, but most seem to resonate with how large and solid this one is.

Thanks to BTCTrinkets.com for their huge reorder of Bitcoin keychains. BTCTrinkets is located in the EU, and they only accept Bitcion. They also sell their own Bitcoin keychain, that's been around a lot longer than ours.
http://btctrinkets.com/presta2/index.php?id_category=3&controller=category

BTW, just for the sake of experimentation and photo documentation, we took an acetylene torch to one of these keychain. Some of the photos are pretty dramatic. One is below, and here's a link to the the photo set:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/100239928@N08/sets/72157644807123566/

(and I guess it's proof that these keychains aren't literally indestructible)

That is one amazing picture! Looks great! I did notice that a piece of the brass layer broke of on my keychain. Will take a picture later on, don't feel like getting up right now, haha.

That's the first I've ever heard of that happening (in about a year of selling these); my only guess is that there must have been a subtle defect in yours. Please do post or send me a photo at your convenience. I can swap it out for a new one, if you'd like.

Will do and don't worry about it. It's a part on the keychain ring itself that chipped off. Not very noticeable.

I will be at the Bitcoin in the Beltway convention http://bitcoinbeltway.com/ this weekend with a table.  When people see this keychain in person it sells!  The look and quality really impress.  You can pick one up with no shipping cost and get a free sticker as well.

Please visit http://Bkeychain.com to see how to buy your own Bitcoin keychain (we have several resellers)!

I've also posted some new images of strings of keychains haven't been used, such as this one (below), which I think would be really nice to use as an image with any article about the Bitcoin blockchain. And playing with a chain of keychains, I realized it makes a fun (large and clanky) Bitcoin necklace!

I just wanted to give this thread a little bump, as Bitcoin Keychains make nice holiday gifts (as does Bitcoin, itself, of course). The first three shops listed below sell lots of fun crypto products, so I encourage everyone to browse their offerings.

Located in USA, accepts BTC
http://cryptoanarchy.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=131

Located in EU, accepts BTC
http://btctrinkets.com/presta2/index.php?id_product=23&controller=product

Located in USA, accepts many cryptocurrencies

Located in USA, accepts USD (Amazon Prime Eligible)

Been awhile, but figured I'd bump this. Hopefully most people have seen these Bitcoin keychains by now. If you don't have one yet, check out the different places to buy them at bkeychain.com.

I appreciate how much use your forks are getting! But I must remind potential non-thrill-seeking buyers that these are novelty pens, they aren't made of food-safe plastic, so it's not recommended you eat with them... No matter how well they seem to work as conventional plastic forks.

The fork is priceless. How likely is it you'll develop a Bitcoin Screwdriver Toothbrush?

Only if you can explain how it's a pun about a popular Bitcoin topic!

The forks are largely an attempt to share a pun with the community. The keychains were an attempt to create a rugged-looking yet inexpensive physical representation of Bitcoin, always as close as one's keys. Bitcoin's physical representations and tools really resonate with me.

Still plenty of time to order fun Bitcoin stocking stuffers with quick/free delivery for U.S. Amazon Prime users! Purse.io allows you to pay with Bitcoin and save on every purchase.

-Bitcoin Keychains
-Bitcoin Fork Pens
-Litecoin Keychains

http://amzn.to/1MjuSjl

Or "keep it real" and buy our world famous Bitcoin Keychains from a dedicated crypto retailer!

BTC Trinkets - quick shipping for EU customers (ships from Finland)
http://btctrinkets.com/presta2/index.php?id_product=23&controller=product

Bitcoin Not Bombs - support businesses you share values with!
http://bitcoinnotbombs.org/product/bitcoin-keychain/http://bitcoinnotbombs.org/product/bitcoin-keychain/

CryptoAnarcy - selling our Bitcoin keychains for over two years (and in business a lot longer than that!)
http://cryptoanarchy.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=131

Nakamotos (visit the Bitcoin retail store in San Francisco!)

EDIT: Oh, and thanks KIMOSAN! If you like the LTC keychain, the BTC keychain is much heftier and more rugged.

It's been awhile since any activity on this thread. If you have seen these coin-like Bitcoin keychains online and wished you could own one, you can buy them from us (using Bitcoin or PayPal), Amazon (get a discount using Bitcoin with Purse.io), or one of our authorized resellers.

More info at: http://bkeychain.com

We also have created Bitcoin Forks

and

Litecoin keychains

Our substantial Bitcoin Keychains are a great holiday gift! You can buy them from one of our resellers using fiat or crypto:
http://bkeychain.com/buy_from_reseller.html

And they are also available on OpenBazaar:
https://duosear.ch/?q=bitcoin%20keychain

Interesting factoid: the most keychains we've ever sold was during November-December 2013 (during the price spike).

Wow, it's almost Christmas and I'm just starting my shopping. If you're in that position too, there's still time to order a Bitcoin Keychain on Amazon (rated 5 stars!), and have it arrive before Christmas. Amazon Prime members don't pay for shipping, and you can also buy via Purse.io.

http://amzn.to/2i8yEp5

And check out the crypto stores in USA and EU that carry Bitcoin keychains, and other great cryptocurrency products - shipping times may vary:

http://bkeychain.com/buy_from_reseller.html

Also check out, in the UK:

What's the best place to buy these from the uk? I've been meaning to buy one for ages but think I'll finally take the plunge. I don't mind buying a few because they'd make nice gifts to a few people I know. I actually see your keys being used as images to represent bitcoin around the web a lot which is pretty cool.

And yes, I was beyond excited when news and tech sites started using pics of the keychains to represent Bitcoin! Back when I decided to make these keychains (see beginning of thread), I never had a clue I'd still be making them 4 years later.

What are your bulk prices and where do you ship from? USA? I don't mind buying a few because I could just resell them on this forum myself or maybe ebay to UK users. Feel free to PM me because I have no issue with buying many more. Thanks.

I can't tell if you're kidding, or if you have crazy malware that's not displaying text right on your computer. In my first reply to you, I had listed two URLS, and one says "ships from the UK" and the domain is .co.uk. Here that is again:

Fun to see our Bitcoin Keychain "Blockchain" used by The Guardian, the first time for them.

Fun to see our Bitcoin Keychain "Blockchain" used by The Guardian, the first time for them.

If you want to own your own, here's a list of retailers:

I’ve seen your keychains in a ton of different Bitcoin and cryptocurrency articles. Just got one recently too from a lot I won. I dig it.

It's been over five years since starting this thread. During the last bull run, Amazon was selling hundred of these keychains every month. So we shipped 500 keychains to Amazon to keep them in stock. Then the market tanked, and sales dried up. Our problem is, Amazon is going to start charging for inventory that's been in their warehouses too long. So we really want to move these keychains!

For a limited time, you can buy Bitcoin Keychains on Amazon for under $5, which is less than 50% the normal selling price. So if you've ever wanted one of these keychains (as seen all over the internet, from TheGuardian.com to InfoWars.com to Engadget.com), and want to get rid of your fiat to do it, now might be the best time ever.

Bitcoin Keychains make great stocking-stuffers, and Amazon offers Free Shipping for Amazon Prime members. This dramatic sale won't last forever, so order your Bitcoin Keychains today!

Your keychain and bitcoin fork-pens are always best sellers at shows and conferences Cheesy

Love it!!!

Thanks for the kind words! I genuinely hate to be selling so low, for all the sake of fantastic businesses like yours, who carry our products! And also because we're basically losing money at this price, with all the fees Amazon charges when they fulfill products. Looking forward to the next bull run (doesn't look like that will be today).

Here's a fun video ad we made. It started as just an audio ad, but I got so much favorable feedback on the audio that I created a video:

Bitcoin Keychains are on sale for $4.98 on Amazon right now! That's less than half the normal price we've sold these keychains on Amazon since mid-2013. Get your stocking-stuffers now, while they are on sale. Free shipping for Amazon Prime members.

(Hodl that BTC when the price is down, spend that fiat!)

These are amazing! IDK man, I almost feel obligated to pay with Bitcoin.

But I'm on Amazon right now, thinking of going all out and giving them out for Christmas...

It was exciting to accept Bitcoin when these keychains first came out in 2013, and there's a similar sense of excitement accepting Bitcoin via Lightning Network today! If anyone wants to buy via LN, just say the word. Respond here or PM.

After six years of selling Bitcoin Keychains, a lot of online crypto stores have come and gone! I think as many as a dozen stores have carried our keychains, but are no longer in existence. A moment of silence for those who have come and gone.

I'm happy to announce that CryptoCloaks is now carrying these Bitcoin Keychains. They also have a bunch of cool 3D-printed node enclosures, hidden hardware wallet mounts, and other fun stuff. So now, everyone who wants to buy a Bitcoin Keychain with BTC (on chain or via the Lightning Network) can do so. Again! CryptoCloaks also accepts PayPal payments.

Bitcoin Keychains on CryptoCloaks' site:

And for those who hodl BTC and want to pay with fiat on Amazon:
