So inflation already killed it, nice job.
Thats why you have testnet.

Nothing is killed. Mining difficulty getting naturally readjusted, shortly the difficulty will make new blocks much slower.
Yes let's just act like 700,000 coins being mined in one day is a normal launch. This shitcoin is going to dump to zero and you wont get any more exchanges now.

It's not 700 000 coins per day. Based on current stats, it could be somewhere around 110k before it gets to normal bitcoin wise pace for new blocks. It's easy to complain about the projects but making something happen is much harder. 100k coins in case of bitcoin fork won't cause troubles, so no problem with me. What I really hope is that team delivers atomic swaps, then I will be really happy and we will see some "moon" prices. I'm glad they did as promised with source
I don't care if it's 10,000 or a 1,000,000 it's poor coding and a failed launch. There are ways to prevent this, they probably done it on purpose. This may have been their plan all along instead of a premine.

Any exchange that accepts this without the removal of these coins will be getting a detailed email from me. This is not acceptable in 2018.

Proceed with extreme caution.

If you're just after a buck, day trading on the dips without prejudice to the coin(s) involved will get you farther than the 'long' game. If you think the coin has a future, buy and hold a least a percentage.

This advice is not guaranteed, nor am I a financial advisor. It's the strategy I follow, and I've done... Well, fair Tongue I ain't buying a Lambo anytime soon.

It's free advice. It's worth at least what you paid for it.

It’s a great feedback...I just figured I lower down my average since I bought it at more than 3x the price..

I plan on holding for quite sometime..thinking I hold off until Coinomi is up and running..not a big fan of YoBit either!

Overall, I think this project will gain traction later this month and pick up steam by end of 2018...wishful thinking I guess—especially not knowing who is really behind this Atom team!

It's a very interesting project. If they can deliver on their roadmap, this coin will be a serious contender.

I helped my father to get some (got bitcoin in a block before and during the fork), but I'm waiting. Mostly because I had no BTC at the time and my ETH was making me money Cheesy

But I definitely think the project has a lot of merit. When it gets on exchanges for real, I'll probably invest a portion into it to hodl.

But I'm primarily a day trader, and at the end of the day I'm split between BTC, USD, and ETH. I trade a lot of stuff Cheesy

Due to some difficulty adjustment bug millions of coins have been mined in less than 24 hours making the coin totally and entirely worthless.

This fork irrecoverably epically failed.

My list of 43(+3) reviewed Bitcoin forks | You don't have to download the pre-fork blockchain again for each fork! | Beware of fraudulent AWS accounts sellers and dangerous edu AWS codes! + My personal list of legit sellers and scammers | Never publicly reveal your btc addresses, ownership or any other details and stay very far away from anybody who asks you to! | The general rule of safe buying is: if the seller is a newbie, with no reputation, with no topic nor trust feedback, offering no vouches and/or selling from a locked or self-moderated topic and unwilling to go first or use escrow => AVOID. Always check the trust feedback first and make sure that you have enabled "Show untrusted feedback by default" in "Profile / Forum Profile Information".

What do you think is a good ETA to be listed elsewhere besides Yobit?

I can't stand shills like you. Current block 582,697 we started at 505,889 yesterday that's 76808 blocks mined in just over 24 hours = 960,100 coins (12.5 per block). What do you really think those 960100 coins are going to do? hold? no they are going to dump ASAP and drive the price below $1. If any of you actually cared about this project rather than just wanting a quick buck everyone would be screaming for another fork back to block 505,889 with difficulty fixed.

Difficulty seems to be adjusting now. But even if it were 2 million coins the percentage VS the total supply would be less that 10%. And since this is a bitcoin fork, lots of people will not claim their coins.

I don't think the difficulty was good for the project, but i also think that it will not affect that much.

just my 2cent

I'll leave aside that you're now financially motivated to keep it the way it is.

Do you know how many coins of other recent forks like B2X are actually claimed? It's a very small percentage. Keep these 900,000+ coins and it's a dead project in terms of pricing and shows the incompetence of the developers.

If you received them on exchange which probably is Yobit then you can keep them. If you didn't claim yet using your private keys then no need to hurry as you will be able to get them anytime in future too. This depends on your situation or condition which fits you best.

I also think this might be a hidden premine. Also no testing this is fatal to code quality and trust.

Quite agree so many Bitcoin forks around, but only the strongest with a good roadmap and great team coupled with a supportive commuinty will stand the test of time.

I'm happy the team is getting through with initial hitches...However, they need to solidify the tech and improve marketing. It is one thing to have a great product and another thing for people to know the product exists.

So kudos to the team and hopefully the community will be carried along and road map accomplished.
