Weird issue: today i reboot the Bitfury for some brief downtime, and on powering up it fails to hash properly.
Here's what happens (rebooting does not resolve the issue, nor do the start/stop mining buttons)
-The chips are hot - 100% operating and producing the full heat of normal operation - SSH viewing of the stat.log file shows that all the chips are hashing normally, and actually provides a correct hashrate (about 225GH/6 cards) - The WebUI works but shows no hashrate - The pool shows no hashrate. - using SSH, the pools_conf file has the correct information and matches the webUI pool info
I dont understand if the chips are hashing but somehow not reporting the outputs? This was a routine 'shudown/halt, PSU off, a few minutes, PSU on'. First time ive ever had the unit failing to hash normally but produce heat

I would suggest switching to another pool, just for testing. I had a problem like this the other day. WebUI showed 0 GH/s, but everything else made me think the cards were hashing. Turned out, it looks like Eligius shut down the port (12234 I think) that I was using. When I changed to another pool, just to try it out, everything started working again.

Which is a shame because when I last had some bitfury rigs on their main stratum port the units were not hashing optimal due to low diff shares. There was at the time (not sure if this is the case) some poor method of "automatically" setting min diff share size. Since you cannot manually specific the minimum share difficulty I had to move to a different pool.

So I am guessing we should not be expecting anymore retails sales? Just threw a Kill-a-Watt meter on my 2 rigs, they hash at 735 GH/s and use 728W. Shame I will not be able to add anymore of these to my farm.

I've moved onto Bitmain and A1 clones Love my BF rigs, and it's a pity we can't purchase more at a competitive price. Oh well.

I have a tray of chips and other bitfury gear left over for sale : I have a tray of 260 BitFury chips from the second revision (that's still Gen-1) for sale. Those are the same ones which had reported over 4GH/s. For the sake of perfectionism I'd say you should expect to achieve over 3.5GH with those when pushed, and when running on "power saving mode" should do easily below 0.3-0.4W/GH I am selling it as a full unopened tray. I am not interested in breaking it apart and will not be selling individual chips. I have a BitFury M-card v3.0 + H-Board PCI v2.2 with heatsink for sale. If that matters to anyone - they're brand new, never used, never powered, still in their original packaging from punin (from bitfurystrikesback.com). Those are leftovers from a previous project that never took off and I don't see any point of keeping them around to collect dust. I also have the Raspberry PI with the original SD card as preloaded by BFSB (which is also in its original box and has never been powered). I don't insist on selling the RasPI as I can still use it for other purposes, but if you want it - it's yours. This is just the essential piece. Please see the full posts for more pictures and details.
