I think when I see this now that altcoin development of 2 altcoin that it's possible to develop is the ethereum and litecoin. ethereum currently developing rising rapidly and there is a possibility of the ethereum will persist in its portfolio in addition litecoin also has the same opportunity even though not at the moment but for the coming year and will move as soon as litecoin could probably side by side with the ethereum.

The list is actually long but as for me, I think the top 2 altcoins that could probably give me great profit gain would be eth and ripple. Although, these altcoins are good for long term investment therefore, this truly requires a lot of patience. I see growth potential in these coins and there project is actually good so i see some great future in these coins.

I am not sure if my thought are right, but i am going to tell you what i think. I think that at the moment best investment would be in Ethereum and Bitcoin cash. Ethereum is good and safe option to invest in, it has good price too, and it is not too expensive. On the other had Bitcoin Cash is a bit expensive, but also have good rising percent. So those are two options that i would recommend investing in.

Monero, Monero, Monero.

Originally I would probably say Dash and Monero, but Dash has already had its run two weeks ago Dash would pause at current level for some time before advancing again. But Monero! Monero is still lacking behind BTC but a lot and if you look at its history you could be guaranteed its price would only rise against USD, very quickly, for sure!

Every other coin is lacking and will always lack behind against BTC. Why would Monero be better than, for example, zcash or eth?

Tbh i think best thing to do is to look up any around the 1$ coin and invest in all. Only one has to rise to +250$ like monero did or zcash and eth and your set.

IMHO, Monero is better than ETH because Monero emphasises on anonymity while ETH is more like an ICO participation ticket.
Monero is slightly better than Zcash because monero is in top 10. My personal advise is, mainly focus on the top 10 coins to avoid too much risk.

I completely agree, and want to add that Monero has the more engaged community and broader vision behind it.

Alright, these are my choices:

1. Waves: Really, waves used to be a tree with no roots in 2016, it grew up and its root broke through the crypto world in 2017, and 2018 is the time to blossom hard! Wait and see.

2. Stratis: The devs always wanted to be one of the 5 biggest marketcaps, and they probably someday get there. It's a pity I never accumulated stratis.

3. Metal: Relatively low marketcap now. Will be huge in future...

I personally will suggest ethereum,  zcash,  and ripple to invest.
1. Ethereum : it's the second largest cryptocurrency. It surely has a great potential and seems giving more in return.
2. Zcash : you can invest in zcash without any risk since it offers privacy,  extra security,  and selective transparency of transactions.
3. Ripple: it's powerful and safer to invest since it's offering instant,  certain  and low-cost international payment.
Whatever you'd like to invest, it's up to you. You'd better think carefully before deciding which altcoins you want to invest,  and don't forget to do some observations.

While invest in top coins might be a good bet, I cannot help to remind you to take a careful look at the PoS coins located a bit below on the marketcap listing.

Keep in mind that that when you invest in a PoW coin, you won't get any rewards and your profits will depend entirely on the market.

On the other hand, when you invest in a PoS coin, even if the market fluctuates, you can generate income by supporting the network thus minting your coins.

Mark my words; the long term future will be ruled by the PoS coins, not the PoW ones.

i will gonna invest ethereum , bitbay both of the coins have alot to offer than the other coins there are some even coins that have nothing to offer and have higher price than bitbay, bitbay is a undervalued coin last month its price is 2 cents and now the price growed 10 times than its original price in a month.
