Received a PM. Hi sir, i need your help.. this is my first time using vps (linux base)
Can you give me command for :-
1.stop primecoind on the vps
2.delete wallet.dat (i don't know where this wallet.dat location)
3.restart Before you do this make sure you have imported the private key and the transaction is showing up in the wallet you've transferred to! primecoind stop rm ~/.primecoin/wallet.dat primecoind --daemon |

"primespersec" : 3 There is a lot of variability. I have seen 20-40. Others, please post your results! +1 Is this actually profitable ?
No idea! What's the XPM exchange rate at? The VPS is cheaper than electricity for me! |

So do we know yet what the performance is on EC2?
I would be willing to test out various computing sizes but I would be throwing money out the window since it would probably still take more than an hour to get a single block.
Also, wouldn't the admins on digital ocean be unhappy since you are actually utilizing the VPS 100% 24/7?

At 20-40 it might be worth it. Free is free anyways, especially since it is all luck at this point.

EC2 was giving mixed results. Check Vorksholk's posts. |

primecoind listtransactions If it's empty you haven't mined any yet! "primespersec" : 72 & 62, so far, been running @ 30 mins

I've got 2 droplets mining away at primecoin via your guide. Thank you! btw. At least it looks to my linux noob eyes like they are mining. I have the 'watch' command running, now how do I stop it? lol
Could you point me in the direction of somewhere I can learn more about what is happening here and how to monitor/use it all?
I've only ever mined in Win.
