When do you know its time to sell your altcoins?

I have come to realize people will tell you when to buy, but will never tell you when to sell, that's the decision you make for yourself. As for me, once I get 5% profit am okay. I live to trade another day than losing all in the quest of getting 10%.

Aiming 10% is quite high but still is possible. However, when you want to be a day trader in cryptocurrency trading, better aim for like 3-5% and then just rinse and repeat. Because when you try to aim for higher profit, it will take you some time and an equivalent feeling of frustrations and urge to trade even at loss.

It always good thing if you set your goal price in any altcoin and yes selling your altcoin when the prics reach its ATH (all time high) is a good decision to earn a good profit dont be greedy a 10 to 20% is a huge amount of profit for any altcoin you choose to hold.

I think the best time to sell altcoin is when the market is saturated. Price of altcoin does not increase anymore. Investors are looking to buy other currencies. You should sell altcoin at this time. It helps you avoid the risk.

There is no right time to sell. To make a target at which you will sell your coin is wrong. I mean if you got enogh then sell it but dont cry if the price will continue to grow .
The right thing is to look at the project. All good ICOs have a website, whitepaper, roadmap,.. where you can see what they plan and how far they already are.
Look for information like.
Do they really work on the project or is it scam.
What do people say about the project on social media.
....
Instead of this you also have to look at the cryptomarket.
If the price of bitcoin falls then you token will fall too.

Of course every traders sell their coins once the market value rises at its unexpected percentage. Just take the example during last December, the buying and selling of coins really interract because of the rising value bitcoin had. It is also important to put limitation in your side so that once it happens that bitcoin or ny other altcoin goes down very much then immediately sell it to avoid lossing too much

Do not look for the highest peak price, it will make you never satisfied. Simply put, buy when low and sell when higher than the purchase price. Define the target first, when the price is on target, sell! but if the coin is very good for the long term, then just hold it.

It is important to set clear targets or goals when investing. But you also need analysis and have plan B if the market does not go according to your plan. Expecting a 30% profit in a month is not impossible here, but losing 20% a week will not be a strange thing either.

the "formula" that i usually use is mostly looking for at least 20-30% profit whenever i invest in an altcoin. but that is not set in stone and it changes quite a bit.
for coins that are hot and are getting pumped pretty hard, i aim for a higher percentage and for those that are not so hot and have little potential of pump i aim much lower. it is of course depending on the market and the situation too. sometimes coins can get pumped real hard but other times they may have harder time even having a small rise.

Agree, it is true that its tough of when to sell our Altcoins in a right time moment because of prices is fluctuating that even you set a price limit still it is mostly difficult to hit. For me it will be time the to sell my Altcoins if i really need money for spending in which i will sell the most highest earning but if i don't need money i will hold it as long as it was always healthy in the market.

The best time to sell my altcoins is not in the red market. I will prefer to keep it for holding. The right time, in my opinion is during the green market. Whatever the condition, selling the coin when the price has been higher than the first rate will be profitable. Hence, just ensure that I will discuss and analyze the coin that I hold.
