Set a limit on the tokens, and when they touch them, sell as soon as you know it will not increase. Do not expect too much for them, choose the right time to sell.
Yeah you're right. You need to move on and let go of dying altcoins. This is the reality that you have to accept in cryptocurrency. There is a lot of dying altcoins and still there is a lot of new altcoins. So, lessons learned, don't just invest; instead perform due diligence.

It depends on a market. If the market is bullish, I usually want to get at least 100 percent profit for any coin. If the market is bearish, as at the moment, I am happy, if an altcoins shows around 30 percent profit within few weeks.

Everyone has their own strategies and ways of deciding whether or not to sell coins they have. I myself will sell the coins that I have when the coin has given me an advantage and the profit I get is greater than my expenses. But, some people have the target they want to get and when it's not achieved, maybe they only get regrets.

At the moment I do not expect very big results from alternative coins. I sell a coin at the time when she gave me 10-15 percent profit.

Anytime you know that your altcoins are doing well in price. you can sell them and buy back when the price must have reduced, but do not let the price dump on you

It depends on whether you are a trader or a holder. If you are a trader, if you have a profit of 5-10% then you should sell all and search for other altcoin to invest in. If you are a holder, it is best to wait 50-100% of profits or more

If me, I will see the movement of the price chart for 7 days. usually if the increase is already very high, it tends sometime will to decrease. if the price has risen> 200%, I will sell it. then I wait for the price to go down again to buy coin again. but remember...! look at the chart if the price will go down to sell coins. but if you invest, then wait until the price you expect has been reached.

Selling your altcoins it's really up to you, no one can force you on what you're doing, you just think if it is profit already then sell it or according to your needs if you don't have money then sell it, for me i've waiting for the bull run to sell my holdings.

I think that you have very much sank the deposit during this time but you should not be upset. if you are a long-term investor then there is nothing more important in what is happening, you will still be in profit.
I personally sell coins then when they reached the price of my sales

for each person there is a time when you need to sell a coin. If you have already earned money on a coin, then, of course, you can already sell. But if the coins are cheap, like today, I think you need to wait. I buy so far the market is so low and I continue to invest in promising projects. Here is an example of #swachhcoin. The project will pay people for their trash. At the moment the bonus is 25%, you can buy coins until mid-December. I advise you to see the project.

Just wondering if ya'll have a typical formula you go by or a certain X percentage profit or loss.
I've been playing around with coins for just under a month now. $23750 total investment and currently up just under 10k in profit. One of the coins (IOTA) has gone up about 288%. Obviously it would suck if it crashed but it would equally suck to sell if it continues to grow.
Just wondering what a lot of you folks do. I'm considering investing another 25 or 50k into coins. Ideally I'd like to net 15k a month off them but I know that may not be realistic on a monthly basis.
If you have this whopping sum, it's actually very cool to take advantage of the bearish market make good use of it to rack up some good deals as regards some promising projects such as Matrix, Telcoin, Storm, even ETH and Eos and many more that thou they have been affected greatly from the dip, will surely do well as long as crypto will exist for..

it is easy enough to determine, it is important to have time to sell coins when the price reached the peak and slowly began to fall, it is a sign to have time to sell your coins

The rule that I often apply in my trades is to sell them immediately when the altcoin made a significant rise in the span of 24 hours. Let's say that this day it's stable but then tommorow it's increase more 70% or more than that then that is the time I know that it's time to sell.

I think no one knows when to buy and when to sell altcoins. In most cases, these are just good deals, after which everyone thinks they are cool investors. But the market will always win.

Someone tries to analyze, someone is watching the project, but in ninety percent of investors sell all the Altcoins when entering the crypto exchange. This is always a small or big increase in price.

For me, altcoin is only a quick income. I'm buying a coin and selling it in the next couple of days. Long wait luck I'm not going to, because for me it is absolutely a failure
