I see etheruem being the next big coin. The importance of etheruem is growing higher and in few years to come, its benefits would have been riped by then.

Bitcoin is still worth $16580.06. But in my opinion, the bitcoin is still seen as a safe investment. However, to answer your question "What coin do you believe will be next to bitcoin?" . So my answer is i still choose to invest/hold ETH and XRP.
I believe, both are the best coins to invest for 2018.

I guess the next on bitcoin or higher than bitcoin in next year is ethereum.because lot of peiple using eth.it also use by the newbie or the starter in bitcoin they get it in a airdrop and sell it to eth...and also many ico's are choising btc and eth to deposit there site Yes you're right, it is obvious that etherium will be the expected to rise next bitcoin which you can notice now or even in the previous years that mostly used in the bounty ICO for sending their token according the staked that will be received by the participant will differ according to their membership rank. |

I think the coin that will boomed is ethereum. I believe that this coin will be the next big thing when it comes in digital cryptocurrency world. Aside from that this is the second higher value of coin and it still increasing. That's why I am now investing my money in ether because I believe that I will benefit sooner. |

Quite a lot of posts mention Ethereum. How about the other coins within the top 5 list though, are they not worthy of mention?  Anyway, I've been researching about Ripple and I really like how things are going with this coin. |

Well if we look now in term of value, the biggest competitor is Ethereum. Personnaly I never like ethereum, so I would love to say it would be down soon but I was (and I am still) wrong. I should reconsider this coin  |

Each coin does have their unique features and road map, bitcoin is extraordinary and original. I don't find anything that will be next to bitcoin, there will be some new coins that will be on hype but still bitcoin is unique from those coins that others are suggesting.
Bitcoin is on the top and no altcoin i can see will be next to bitcoin, but i know many altcoin has their own good benefits and they have potential to grow but not like bitcoin. Just like what I said, there's no other coin that can be compared to bitcoin. Altcoins out there are also good for investing and will give good benefits but it can't be compared to bitcoin in some other ways. No coin can become bitcoin it is unique and no other coin will ever replace it bitcoin will stay forever and I admit ethereum is profitable but we can compete it with bitcoin because its acceptance to the region is very low tell me name of any region which recognize eth and there is chance that its value will come near to the value of bitcoin, bitcoin will progress more in future and people will be on it they will never go for any other option. That's what I've been saying and even there are coins that has the potential to become popular but it is still unique to say that bitcoin is the original of them all. Everything started with bitcoin and investors are craving to have more bitcoin because it's value has been increasing. |

As the year ends, and lots of drama happened for the past months;
-argument on which is the real real bitcoin
-bitcoin crazy forks
-lots of ICO's
-people getting scammed
-hodlers of cryptocurrencie holding on to their dear life
-more people are asking about bitcoin, and trying to get in the train
-the rise and death of other cryptocurrencies
-the slow and high transaction fee of bitcoin
And the last drama, the sky-rocketing of bitcoin.
But in the end, I'm so happy that I bought LTC when it was at 55 usd, and I will now invest more in Litecoin.

I think there are a lot of coins that can be the next bitcoin. Just like Etherium for example. The thing is all these potential replacement coin for bitcoin cannot excel as long as bitcoin is still around. Now, it would also be impractical to us if bitcoin will be gone. I think it is better this way, that bitcoin is number one. |

Even me also thought after bitcoin the ETH is a good coin. But I am observing since last weeks people are making BCH is more popular than ETH. I don't know what the reason is but what I am thinking means they are trying to replace BCH in place of BTC what you guys can tell. |

Personally I considered ethereum to be the next bitcoin because it is well developed coin that can handle many and faster transactions daily with a lower fees than bitcoin, ethereum is a coin developed with smart contract which makes it easier to use than other altcoins |

I'd say the next coin to bitcoin is Ethereum. Ethereum has manage to retain it's position as the second highest coin over the years and if there is any tragic fall in the price of bitcoin in the market, I'm very well sure Ethereum is best coin to replace bitcoin. |
