One of the biggest regret of my life was to sell some BTC last year at around $700, now it is even more than $17000. Aside from the success stories of old bitcoiners many of the users also have the same stories like mine. Well "its never too late" so instead of cursing yourself all the time we should move forward because bitcoin is still growing and this time more rapid than before.

Everyone regrets selling their bitcoin who sold either due to fear that bitcoin might crash or due to losing faith in bitcoin that it may never rise again. I think in this forum everyone has their view point and some would say that you should sell your bitcoin before it is too late and some will suggest that wait for the biggest hike in bitcoin. But overall one needs to remember that it’s his own bitcoin and you should think and analyze yourself rather than being a patient of panic selling be mature and analyze the market before selling or buying bitcoin.

To be honest, as you can see, the current price of BTC is just unbelievable, have you ever owned some BTCs before? If so, are they still in your wallet? You may be deadly regretable if you already sold them out? I guess.

P.S.: I have an price analysis for today as below.

BTC:
BTC price skyrockets though day traders dump their BTCs out of panic, nevertheless, those new traders rushing into the market are still taking those BTCs over at high levels. Here is my advice: For BTC believers, you can just hold on to your BTCs however the price changes. For day traders, pay special attention to the short-term risks. Once price breaks below MA 5, profit booking should be considered. Nothing will just keep increasing in price without dips, we’ll have another chance to buy BTC in sooner or later.

BCH:
BCH got supported just above the line as I circled yesterday. Today, we saw a violent rally of BCH price which seemed fearless when facing BTC’s astonishing gains, indicating that main funds are determined to protect BCH from dropping. Competitive coins against BTC will have another round of bullish trend when BTC price starts a correction.

LTC:
LTC got a short-term and effective support at current price. A good rally of LTC price is expected when BTC price starts a correction. Also, it’s likely for LTC to continues setting a new all-time high, holding on to your positions is the best strategy for now.

ETC:
ETC price action seems relatively weak. Though forks are coming to ETC like what happened to BTC, the overall environment is changed now. Therefore, ETC is still likely to be oscillating and downward in terms of short-term price trend.

Altcoins:
Those altcoins with support from main funds can be our targets. The astonishing surges in BTC price almost lower all altcoins’ prices, including those with positions set by main funds. Altcoins mentioned above are expected to experience a good rally in price and regain their grounds taken by BTCs. Let’s wait and see.

Talking seriously i dont regret selling my btc in the past when price was low because it was just a small amount and i can afford that much loss and thinking ahead because the prices are increasing rapidly and are going to surge more in future and now i wont do the same mistake again and now i am long term hodler of btc and i will say enjoy your life to the fullest without any worries and stress.

You should never regret selling your bitcoin, esp when you realize that someone else excited about bitcoin bought it from you.

I have sold most of my bitcoin when it first reached 4800$. I needed the money back then and i never thought it would reach this value of 17000$!. I kind of regretted it but i was obliged so i have an excuse. Since that last time, i didn't sell any of my bitcoin. I realized it was going to keep rising.

Yes I regret on my decision of selling my BTC's.About a month ago when the fork got cancelled there was a temporary drop in the price .I think I sold my BTC's around about 7000$ at that time and now the price is 17000$.A rise of 10000$ in one month which is making me feel regret about my decision.

Theres an easy solution to regret and thats to realise you wont live forever so make the most of each day and maybe more practical is to only sell your BTC to invest into other things.    Dont spend it on junk because then you will regret as much the purchase was not worth it,  this is a shock to the system for most as modern society has become about spend spend spend and with BTC you should consider do I really need to because I might lose out.

The BTC I spent went onto things like a monitor, I was using a chunky old CRT screen for years and because everyone else is on a nice screen I was finding webpages were increasingly hard to read.  You dont realise it but they accommodate the average user setup in their web design and that is not an old CRT.

So I used to be a BTC miner, not tons but enough to buy a nicer widescreen LCD display which is so much finer then the old one and it let me carry on using the internet.  So it was a reasonable investment, in todays money that monitor was about $5,000 maybe.   Thats too bad but I cant regret having to use my funds sometimes and it was fairly essential.

Last year I sold 0.3 btc for a few hundred dollars.   Again to buy computer parts, kinda essential.    The main way I've sold BTC this year ( I held most till the summer) was to buy in some gold, this is a very reasonable hedge and parallel to crypto in not being part of the FIAT or QE system we are all stuck in.

Thats my main recommendation to people who find they sell BTC or feel they have to.   Hold a bit of gold as well because this has been used as a hedge for centuries and it will continue now, major exporting countries are currently buying in larger quantities then they have for decades previously.   I take that as a new paradigm as much as cryptocurrency has been, however right now its not as popular Im sure.

Sincerely speaking I have made some sale of my bitcoin in the past and I don't have regrets whatsoever because at the time of selling, I had made up my mind to be prepared for whatever comes next whether its going to be an increase in price or reduction in price that has been my consolation. The only reminder is the way the valuation is done on blockchain that do comparative using the current bitcoin exchange as against what it was as at the time of the transaction which then keep reminding you how much you would have gotten now if you hadn't made the sale.

I have regrets selling my first bitcoin at $1100 and another sell of $1560 but  when I started to read from blogs and articles about what bitcoin was actually made to be I stopped regretting! Bitcoin should be a medium for exchange of goods and services and not the way we are using it now like commodities and security were we would hold it and sell it when the value increase. Holding bitcoin is not bad but treating it like stocks and securities " will undermine it values as currency" I have to start advocating bitcoin as money in my country.

Surely many have been regretful in selling their bitcoins because if they have hold until now, they have surely made a fortune out of it. I have also sold my bitcoins before and I also felt regret after seeing the price and realizing that bitcoin will continue to rise. But instead of feeling sad about it, I just told myself that the money was used for good reasons because it was for my family so there should be no reason for sadness. I am student who likes to be responsible for my school expenses and also helped my family at the same time and I was able to do that with the help of bitcoin. As far as I want to hold, I know that I will need to sell from time to time because I can't just look away when I know that my family needs me especially when it comes to financial matters.

I know that there are members who are also like me, who shares their income with the family since from the start and I would like to say, do not regret about selling because it is for your family anyway. Continue earning bitcoin because there will come a day that you will be able to hold your bitcoin just like the other people.

I might not have started bitcoin but I know friend who has sold bitcoin and now he is regretting it.
But still it's not too late , you just have to hold your coins no matter how many you have since the price is increasing and will increase so hope that it will cross $20000 Mark buy the end of this month.
I don't think many people will have regret on selling bitcoins because most of them but would have sold their Bitcoin when the price was increasing from 5000$ to 15000$ .

No I don’t feel any regret to selling my bitcoin because bitcoin is helping me in selling and it’s a digital currency some time you will buy bitcoin and some time you will sell and both these options are going to help you and it’s also good for bitcoin because when someone is selling bitcoin so definitely he is an investors and he will take a profit when he will sell.

Everything I do is well thought out. Great benefit is that I only sell in very small quantities, like 5-10% per time. In some cases you end up selling too early, but that doesn't impact me at all since I will then have plenty enough coins left to benefit from a further increase. I don't limit myself by cashing out everything at once, where from that point I would completely depend on the market to go down. This is more often than not is the mistake that people keep making, and for that reason keep losing out on further growth of the market. It's a pretty straight forward and common way of lowering your risk exposure, but people don't seem to understand it as they keep on cashing out everything they have at once.
