If all the orders still require wire transfer, couldn't it theoretically be one person placing a ton of bum orders to screw with ActiveMining?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I'm expecting some to be fake or the persons don't pay of course, otherwise we would be looking at something like $1,051,672 per day lol. Tongue

Not to derail, but just received this email from KNC Miner:

Quote
At KnCMiner we are aware of the service we are providing to our customers. We are also aware that we need our customers to have a return on their devices in order to purchase form us again. With the scale of the supply chains, agreements and factories we have access to, we need to be cautious we don’t ship too many devices and therefore reduce the return to our customers.  So with that in mind our plan is to do as follows:

 We will ship no devices in December 2013, January 2014 or  February 2014. Meaning that once we have taken the difficulty up at the end of November we will not release any more hashing power for 3 months. We will then release our new generation of devices, which will begin shipping in March 2014. These devices will also have a much higher GH/$ rating than any of our current offerings.

 We would like to state that If any of our competitors continues to add large amounts of hashing power to the network during December, January or February. We will continue to release our devices as competitively priced as we can to protect our customers share of the network.

Thanks
 KnCMiner Team

Hashrate predictions are sure to change with this news, and I am sure create some angry customers with KNC who will now not be receiving their miners until March after the initial pre-order rush get theirs.  Interesting

It's taking off. My IRC window is flooded with <+AssetBot> [ActiveMining] purchases.

BTC-TC is down to 1,321,563 shares in the wall.

I am hoping the wall is gone by the end of the weekend.

We have their name and address, the orders seem legit.

We have just now added a new $4,199 Order and this is a bitcoin order so it is paid.

Everything is picking up with our ads on Google getting 214 clicks already today, after a slight pause while
Google made sure we were real.

Ken,
Have you had anyone reach out from CoinDesk or TGB to cover this like they do other hardware announcements?

I just converted most of my other stocks to ActM last night. I am going to spend the rest of the day today convincing family and friends to buy in ASAP, and before that share wall gets blasted away. I think the last half million or so shares are going to get bought up in a few large chunks by a small amount of people.

TGB did a story on the miners at the beginning of this week. We should get in touch with coindesk.

Dividends will probably be about a third to a half of last week's. Difficulty and the amount of shares that need to be payed out to, as well as no backlog from the reinvestment fund.... However I think I remember reading something to the effect that only half of the reinvestment was in last week divs and the rest for this week.

AMC, Active Mining, AMC-PT Dividends Paid. [.00000748/Share]

Last week was 00001830.

.00000748/00001830 = 40.8%. Right on the nose Smiley

A very good point, even the NASDAQ goes down as well as up. Just let them know nothing is 100% safe and only to use money they can afford to loose. Then tell them to pile in!! Smiley

We are about to drop below 1.3 million shares

13/21 Shares left.

I'm not sure how BTC-TC handles this, but I think FIFO. There are multiple ask orders sitting on 0.0025:

Code:
"52": {
    "ticker": "AMC-PT",
    "timestamp": "1372334090", << 27.06.2013 - 13:54:50
    "amount": "0.00250000",
    "quantity": "791378",
    "buy_sell": "ask"
},
"53": {
    "ticker": "AMC-PT",
    "timestamp": "1372895784", << 04.07.2013 - 01:56:24
    "amount": "0.00250000",
    "quantity": "500000",
    "buy_sell": "ask"
},
"54": {
    "ticker": "AMC-PT",
    "timestamp": "1373922798", << 15.07.2013 - 23:13:18
    "amount": "0.00250000",
    "quantity": "1",
    "buy_sell": "ask"
},
"55": {
    "ticker": "AMC-PT",
    "timestamp": "1373798561", << 14.07.2013 - 12:42:41
    "amount": "0.00251000",
    "quantity": "1",
    "buy_sell": "ask"
}

The one getting chewed is #52 with ~1950 BTC total left. So.. maybe, just maybe (I didn't read through the AM thread), someone placed another huge load on 0.0025 to create the impression, the wall is higher as it is. Well, the height is the same, but ... I think you get my point.

The 500,000 was added when the price of BTC dropped with respect to the dollar.

However a little birdy told me that we are in fact a little bit closer to the NRE goal than shareholders think we are.
