I have a ton of regret for not buying Bitcoin when it was way cheaper, and I put my money into a bunch of other bad altcoins.

Also, I sometimes make moves, for example I sold Litecoin the other day at $90 before it went up to $150.  Major regret there.

Have you experienced regret with trading before?  What do you tell yourself to help ease it?

So much trading regret  Embarrassed
I started trading around 4 months ago, but if I had of kept my initial investment in BTC, my portfolio would be worth 3 times its current worth.
Ah well. Even though financially my investment would have been better if I held BTC, I've definitely learned a lot more about trading and the market...for what it's worth.

Good luck out there everyone.

Best thing you can do to help that is write down every single regret and date it, keep it in a notebook and visit it every now and then to remind yourself. Everyone will make those mistakes but only a fool will repeat them, also take the time to write down some of your best gains and see what you did and scale up. Best of luck!

I usually don't treat them more seriously. The fact is that we cannot anymore do something about what had already happened. I have several rounds of the same situation. I sold my onions at 70 cents and then a few days later it even went beyond $2 and then even more. I also sold my BTC when it hit $11,000 and then it went almost $20,000. But what else can we do? Nothing except to buy again when they dip and then hold once more.

Everyone has experienced such a thing, I'm sure everyone would want the best, but when they know that can get a better result then there will be regret. I've had a lot of things, but I'm still confident because I'm sure someday there must be new opportunities. Opportunities that can give us a much better result of course.

Everybody has own regret especially in trading life. Nobody claim that they have no that experience.
Firt thing to do if we regret about our decision in trading is just remember the trading plan. So it will reduce your regret because we work based on our trading plan. You will be more regret if we are not following our plan.

Take your lesson from it, move on and try to avoid repeating your past mistakes. Beating yourself up over bad trades or trying to trade your losses back will only make matters worse.

Don't fret about falling short on trading for a new ATH, because calling the top correctly is next to impossible. Most of those that do, simply get lucky, whether they know it or not.

You can't control the market, but you can control your emotions. If you sell, try to find the sweet spot where you won't regret that you didn't sell more if the price falls and where you won't regret that you didn't keep more if the price further increases. And vice versa for buying, of course. Additionally, don't buy anything just because the price went up. If the only reason for you to buy into a project is because the price went up, you'll feel double the pain when the price goes down.

We've all made bad decisions. We've all regretted doing (or not doing) a trade. The important part is to act smarter the next time around. Good luck!

when i trading for the first time, i've felt it. i do regret when i didnt buy some coins, because the price is unpredictable and it cant be predicted, but if we have experience in trading and try to be satisfied of what we have gained, so we dont reget it anymore.

This i think good option to do when we are regret with our decision in trading cryptocurrency.
Remember all of the regret and dont repeat it again. Dont fall down to the same hole twice or more.

Yes, there is no meaning in regretting but learn from your mistakes and don't make those mistakes again. Also, we shouldn't be greedy much instead try to be happy with whatever gains we made because we can't predict the exact price every time in all trades. Sometimes we make mistakes and sometimes do correctly. It is all part of trading.

You move on and you learn from your mistake like a big boy. Regrets are for weak hands, winners in crypto and trading have no regrets, you can't predict the futur so it's childish to have regrets

It's something that you'll experience all too often as will have many others, I console myself by firstly trying to learn if I made any mistakes and secondly by reminding myself that trading is an unpredictable activity and it's not possible to be right all the time and fully predict the markets.

Regret in trading is inevitable. Even the best trader will every now and then get it wrong, make  a wrong trade. Do not allow your mind to condemn you, your emotion can not be trusted when it come to trading. So, nobody can get it right everytime, even a bot!

Yes I am one those who have regrets in trading.  But I just put in my mind that it is a blessing in disguise. Why ? Because I learn from the mistakes I made so the next time I encounter those things I know what am i going to do.
You said you put your money into different alts. I do not do that because I know it is risky. Sometimes we have to advance our thinking so that whatever result we get from our decisions we are ready. Or before deciding let us think what are the possible things to happen. In crypto we must always put in our mind the words "take a risk". It is always a part of this world.

You should accept this because most people get caught up and no one can predict what. I think we should look at it as a valuable lesson because it is the way to make us more successful and to make better profits.
