Well I decided to try and solo mine for awhile and followed all the steps in the OP.  Now when I start cgminer with the line from the OP it says its connected and the GPUs are hashing away but the accepted, rejected, and most of the other stats within cgminer are 0.  Is this normal with solomining?  This is the first coin I have ever solo mined and don't really know what I am doing lol.  Any advice is welcomed.

yes its normal, you'll get an accepted share when you actually find a block Cheesy

Yep you will get a few R over time but the only time you get an accept is when you solve a block

Thank you kindly guys.

Have set up a pool at:

http://diamondcoin.miningpool.co

Would appreciate if a few people could lend some hash to find the first block - to make sure everything is working ok.

oh great, we have a pool now. Smiley

Yes, the pool is finding blocks now. Needed to edit quite a bit of the Stratum system.

Still waiting to reach 120 confirms on a block to make sure payments are working correctly though.

For some reason I have feeling that shares are simply piling up and no payouts for them.

Confirms seem to be very slow for this coin - not sure why.

So far only the first 3 or 4 blocks found have reached over 120 confirms and have been credited to user accounts.

I can confirm payments are working as expected.

Blocks are taking a long time to reach 120 confirms, so it may take some hours after mining a block for it to show up in your account...
