Aye, the block reward is 0, but it will likely be an orphanfest well past 1000 when the rewards start because the difficulty was set too low.

Hard to test mine a coin, when the diff is high. and, would have taken too long to mine genesis block, ect. This was the fairest way to do it. Block reward is 0, until block 1000, noone had the opportunity to rape it, at 0 diff
