Do you think it will be the best time to sell as there are two kind of speculations one says the value of bitcoin will reach $20,000 by 2018 and there are also speculations that the bitcoin might go through a dump in upcoming days but i know we cannot believe into random predictions by random users due to the volatility of bitcoin but i need some suggestions whether to hold on to bitcoin or sell it out and invest some of it into altcoins and then wait for the price drop to reinvest into bitcoin which i am not sure will happen or not.

Around December when the price was still at the rate of $19000–$15000, that’s when you should have sold your Bitcoins and wait for a new start this year which is when price dropped to $6000. As for now, the price we are seeing is not a good one for anyone that is planning to sell their Bitcoin.

I won’t even dare to sell any of my Bitcoins at the price current price rate. I’m going to have patience till the year ends to see if the price will improve a little bit.

It depends on at what point you bought your coins. If as at now you are on red there is no need to sell off because it will be colossal loss.But if there is an emergency that money is needed there nothing that can be done then sell and lick your wound.

In my humble opinion you should never sell bitcoin, you should only aggregate the amount of it here, should try hard to earn bitcoin and is is never be a good time to sell it, only if you have earned enough to make your dreams come true.

Its not the best time to sell your coins because the market prices are decreasing but you should be investing a huge amount of coins right now in order to earn more profit when the market goes back to its normal price after a few months.

I fully support this decision and I am making just like you are saying, I am investing some of my money into alternative coins and then I wait for the price to go up, which I am not sure it will happen or not.

Yes i also do not consider the current time as the best time for investment. Bitcoin price is currently trading too much low, so there is no use to sell bitcoin in such a low price, i think that we should wait and hold our bitcoin for some time and when the price raise to a good price and when we feel that now bitcoin is giving us a good profit then we should sell and pickup the profit from bitcoin.

Why would you sell it at a low price if you believe that it would go high again soon ?

If the price of the bitcoin reach your expectation then you can say that it is now the right time for you to sell your bitcoins. You should trust yourself if you plan to hold your bitcoins in a long time.

No it is not the right time to sell Bitcoin. Just look at the red market. The values are way too down and you cannot earn good money. You should rather hold your coins and wait until it is boom in the crypto economy. That will enable you incur some good money in the end. That is actually the benefit of a long term investment and almost all the Bitcoin billionaires are the long term investors.

I do not think so the current market is favorable for selling because the market is not active for sellers which show low value these days. The market is looking favorable for buyers due to the low price these days, they price dropped yesterday at 6.1k dollar and today we see the same value so this is a low value and an opportunity for people to buy at this price because Bitcoin may not be available in future on this low price.

But bitcoin reached to 19800$ in a very very short time, and even if bitcoin price is trading in 6100$ i still have good expectation and i think that bitcoin has the ability to reach to 20000$ again in next 6 months, which i think that a good time for bitcoin. Once bitcoin investors get some confident then no doubt that bitcoin price will continue increasing regularly.

I think the right time to sell bitcoin is when bitcoin prices rise 30% in a week when bitcoin begins to rise and prices do not change in one min ggu it is the right time to sell.
