Is a million dollars possible?

A Million is very possible considering a lot of these alt coins are going to have actual uses in the future. They will be much faster then BTC, LTC and even ETH. I was buying BTC when it was like 5-10 USD and now its a bloated dinosaur. I regret not saving much of it. The dinosaurs are going to have to pass the torch to the newer much faster coins. Monero can be replaced by XSPEC, BITCOIN BY CARDANO/RIPPLE ETC. Theres much more money to be made in the future as the newer currencies can be used in real world application. XSPEC is an un-traceable currency that can beat out monero in many fields. Bitcoin is so slow it gets beat out by almost every new generation coin. Its more of an asset then having any practical use as a serious currency.

At this point, I simply do not think that BTC value will reach $1m since it still needs to improve on how it will deal with all the unconfirmed transxs as well as how high its fees have becomes. Else, people will turn to other possible replacements.

I think it's possible to reach million but it will takes some years. With only 10000$ capital you need 10000% increase in price.

you need a great instinct about it, check xrb price few weeks ago and compare to today, I big holder has been a millionaire. Many of my friends were xrb finder few months ago but unfortunately they sold it.

If one were to buy and hold solid  avaerge coins (not a coin that kicks out and gets 10000% gain), but rather a nice steady gain like eth, Ltc etc (top 20) and starts with 10k, is it possible to reach a million without trading and buying/selling at highs and lows? If so, how long would you predict it would take? Or are most coins not going to last long term, so every 6 months would I have to rebalance with newer coins?

It is possible, but it is defenietly hard.
Think about it like that, in order for you to reach 1 million dollars from 10K, you will need to do 100x of your investment.
If you are not trading at all, it means that you will need to reach an average of 100x,which is really hard at the current market state, Ethereum has about 65B market cap, if you want to do 100x on ethereum it has to reach 6.5T which is almost impossible.

If your initial investment is worth $50k-100k a million dollar is achievable within 3months,the more you gamble the more you will earn its a risk.

It is definitely possible in cryptocurrency and has already happened for more than just a few people I believe. If you have enough to invest at first it can go pretty fast.

Recently i was regretting selling two of my coins one coin i sold because of getting panic while dumping and sold after few months it got more than 1000 times growth . Another one i sold for small growth but now it also reached 4 to 5 times of actual price . So i would suggest hold it until the project success or at least working product comes out don't go with market trend

Not with the top 20, especially when ltc has touched the 300$ mark, but I would split the money into top 100 and well, you never know. A lot of potential is there for further growth and a trillion dollar crypto is not far from here now.

Its not yet possible right now to reach a million dollar level for bitcoin. There are many improvements thats need to be done in order to reach that level.

ofcourse its possible. u know, the development of altcoins is going crazy now. some altcoin can grow until 3000%. and if all keep like this, its imposible for u to get milion dollars.. but u never know what wil happen in next year. as human we just can make some prediction.

I think it is very possible to make a million dollars with a coin if you can afford to acummate large quantities and the coin goes up to at least a dollar.

A million dollar is possible in cryptocurrency world before bit coin just 3000 usd now have reach 10.000 usd .if you have money that invest on bitcoin when the price lower than now you are millioner now. But if u just invest in this year or this middle year you could buy eth or invest in some ICO that you believe will gain profit so your coin or token from the ICO will have a higher price that you could trade or keep to invest in other invest product or other iCO.

Yes, a million dollar is possible if you had invested some thousand dollars in antshare in ICO stage, the antshare turn NEO is one of the best ICOs for investors because the ICO was very cheap and those that participate in the ICO are now millionaires.

Making a million dollars through trading is possible. Calculating the amount of coins that is on the orderbooks is the issue.

If you have a tone of really good coin that you bought for cents and now are worth double and triple digit dollars, then yes it is very possible and many have already achieved this in Crypto. I am trying also to grow a portfolio slowly and steadily and praying that one day they will appreciate enough to the point where we can comfortable retire and and not have to worry about paying the bills and commitments every month.
