Problem is greed got the best of the saps that wanted to buy it at 16k to begin with
I think your right on this one. Now , thinking about it, was the greed of the buyers , not the sellers . Better to Buy into fear and sell into greed. |

I am considering buying 4. The prices have been dropping every few weeks. Asic Miner Market has them for $5500 if you are ok with end of March shipping . However , I believe they will drop the price again if you are patient . I believe $4500 is more than fair for these . I bought an X10 from them for $6500 and wish I would have waited. |

I tried to buy at the time but they sold quickly . Some people complained about the $3600 price point while others paid $18,000. For me $4500 would be my target . A couple of my gpu rigs cost more than that and produce less while using three times as much energy. |

They went from $4,000 to $18,000 , down to $7,000 and now heading towards $4,000 again. The main problem now is the limited coins that remain profitable to justify even a $4,000 price . Decred , Sia and Blake are fading away. Library and Pascal are the only hope in the long run, but the ROI could be a long wait . Actually Pascal might not be that great either when 10,000 machines go online. |
