It don't matter middlecoin is pretty much dead...stats dead...no response from h2o and no twitter feeds and hash rate dropping like a rock. Did anybody get paid yesterday?
I did not even mine a whole day on clevermining and I got more than I have gotten from middlecoin in 3 days. I am on waffle pool and it's even better.
Plus all these pools have cheaper fees.
Plus nobody is defending this pool anymore! It's like this pool is on autopilot to nowhere!
What do you mean "stats dead"? _Graphs_ will not update for anyone who is not activity hashing. Look at anyone with a current accepted hash rate and "stats" are up to date. If not let me know. For the record, I run the server that creates the graphs. I'm not h2o and haven't tried to contact him for some time. I run servers as part of my business as a developer so doing this isn't a big deal for me, but it's diffidently a low priority side project. (Please PM me if you spot a graph problem. thanks) This Romulo guy is a bot or a disturbed individual, he (she? can bots be female?) is reposting someone else's posts without quoting them. No idea what's that about. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=259649.msg5242602#msg5242602

You're obviously paying more attention to the forums than I am (BTW, I look at your mining profitability stats more than I look here. GREAT: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=514242 ) I actually mined here last week when returns were crap everywhere. I noticed my all time MC payout had 999 after the dot and I thought I'd roll it over to the next BTC for the hell of it. Weeeeee!

This pool was once supercool and I was here from the very beginning - first (real) multi scrypt coins switching pool with hyperactive dev/operator and awesome profits. But it also caused huge damage to whole cryptoscene with coin rapes and dumps.. Anyway its dead now, as H2O did not handle snoring coke from bitches asses Just simple math: Pool paid total of 19.5k BTC with 3.4% fee and that is roughly 660 BTC. Even if fees for servers / exchanges were half of that (no way), its still 330 BTC in 11 months - about 1 BTC / day - great job

Hope this pool pays out to everyone before closing totally, if it is closing anyway. Still have a few change stuck there from the days I used to mine on the pool.

MiddleCoin did mine the majority of all produced Doge for several days before it had achieved any real popularity. It's not unlikely that H2O profited several times what you're suggesting.

Either way H20 did very well from all of this, and so he should, he put all of this together and really started the multi-coin single btc pay pool and for a time made us all a fair bit of money.

Forget all of the other outstanding questions, there is only one question to which I'd like to have the answer. What did h2o move on to? Seriously, what was better out there that he was able to ditch a running pool? There was still some potential with it when he disappeared.

I am betting he owns another mining pool out there but just changed his name.... Anyone can create a new Nickname on bitcointalk and re-open a pool and advertise, there are quite a few pools mining the the "SO CALLED" most profitable coin... a whole 0.00130 BTC/MHS
I remember when it was 0.01 and people used to have a heart attack realising it was going down to 0.005 , now we really would love to go back to 0.005 and would dream to go back to 0.01

I just posted a notice on the Middlecoin graph: NOTICE:
I plan to turn off this graphs server due to the expense.
...The expense is $30 per month. That and a little administrative effort on my part. I don't need this server for anything else anymore so it's just cutting into my mining profits -- if any . h2o donated a bit for my efforts last year but that's been spent by now. He hasn't responded to my PMs so I'd say he's out of the picture. If there's any interest maybe we can work something out... --coinGeek

Like people from the future visiting the once great site of the best multi-pool created that paid over 30k USD to the operator, per month. Can't you reconfigure them on a lower performance level, move them to another server. And no, I can't sponsor the bill myself

It can't be moved to another address without someone changing the code on Middlecoin. But, h2o isn't answering PMs or on IRC lately. Anyone with a Middlecoin login please speak up now! (And yes, I wish I had used DNS rather than an IP address for a cloud server. I was in a hurry at the time, if you remember the meltdown going on during the big run up in users due to the run up in profits...)

Oh dear, haven't looked at it in a while. 60 BTC balance, dust presumably? I know I have ~0.008 there, maybe I should mine a little bit to get to 0.01 12 BTC unexchanged, but that could be worthless for all we know.

I had the same thought about the 60 BTC of carry over balance. That's a lot of dust sitting in a wallet that someone can maybe still access. With 40000 some IDs and a lot with sub .01btc balances I can believe it is just a thick layer of dust, but I'm too lazy to do the math right now. Just another strange part of the Middlecoin mystery I guess. I mined my balance down to zero a while back. With script mining paying so little now you won't lose that much throwing a little hash at Middlecoin to even up.

As far as I know Middlecoin was a major catalyst for a short lived frenzy of home made script mining rig building. AMD should send h2o an award for all the video cards he helped sell. A lot of coins were flowing and I hear a few people even mad ROI

I was joking a little about ROI, although the late starters probably had to go back the their day jobs. And my electricity is expensive too...
