so i used to be one of those people posting popcorn but not because i was necessarily defending him but more because i liked the drama(it was fun to watch the back and forth) ... but i have realized this pool is going to shit , i jumped ship last week i moved on i will still keep an eye on this pool in case it ever becomes profitable again , i did like the simplicity and already knew some days were not as good as others but the good days more than made up the bad , what did piss me off is the complete lack of communication ,  he dissaperead and for 4 days stats froze , he said nothing on twiter .. or this forum or hell his own forum on middlecoinforum.com ,   , all that profit gone poof like that. still sitting on a bunch of un-exchanged and all the stuff mined during those days i am pretty sure it aint ever going to be accounted for.

If someone posts your personal info you can get a forum moderator to remove it and have the asshole banned.

No excuses anymore.
i agree with most of what you said, but i've found the mods and admins of this site don't give a fuck if someone's personal information is posted on these forums.  It's happened a couple of times other than tealover but the higher ups won't do a thing about people that post personal information here. They certainly do not ban people for doxxing.

This is just a shoutout to all of the people still loyal to MiddleCoin; you are doing no favors to yourself or anyone else by continuing to mine here.

Notice that H20 didn't even tweet anything until he lost 5 GH/s of his hashrate.

If you want changes you HAVE to leave the pool.

Only when he gets hit where it hurts will he start making the changes people have been asking for all of this time.

Until then you are just throwing him money and he gets to say whatever.

That's what great about free markets. Look how easy it was to switch to a competing pool. Can't personally speak for H20 but from a business perspective, waiting that long to hear something is a major down side and risk - especially when there are other pools operating in a more transparent way. I hope H20 can fix things.

It's very easy to switch to wafflepool:

Edit your cgminer.conf like this:

Find and replace middlecoin with wafflepool and edit password to d=512 and you're set, restart cgminer.

What are you waiting for?

FYI h20 has been posting on IRC (#middlecoin) today.  After all the hard work he's put in this week, he's going on vacation this weekend.  /s
I have nothing against him personally but his lack of communication has been extremely frustrating.  If I ran my business the same way h20 has lately, I would be bankrupt within a week.  My broker makes me money also, but if he were to provide the same level of communication as h20 does, I would drop my bank in a heartbeat.  I'm voting with my hashcount, time to move on......

It would be a wise move to drop the fee down, not necessarily a permanent move, but rather a measure of good faith. I spread my hash around, so situations like this have minimal affect. Some pools that I've mined with even kick-back a little when major issues arise. It's just a good business practice. Mining is unlike any other business I've ever had to deal with. People simply accept lack of support and communication. I get it, profit speaks at the end of the day, but to retain customer base in times of trouble, there needs to be a little give-and-take.

Damn H2O is going on vacation this weekend? The pool is still broke! It's only going to get worse. More people are going to leave now. I would not go anywhere until everything is fixed if I was making $50k to $80k a week...

At least I got a payout today...about .014 btc from what was stuck in the unexchanged...not bad...but that is like from 3 days ago!!!

I think I still got about .012 btc left in unexchanged but the stats are still all fucked up...

WafflePool is still rocking good but I think Clevermining is more profitable....but we will see. I need to give it 24 hours. Rejects are like non existing on Wafflepool. I heard they fixed the reject issue on Clever...

I might just point one rig to Waffle and one rig to Clever.....

I'm very glad people are finally leaving this scam pool. But there are still many miners left here mining directly into h20's pocket.

Been mining on Waffle Pool with 2.6 mh/s avg for about 11 hours and rejects are about .29 percent....

Totally Awesome!

Clevermining had high ass rejects like 5.9 to 10 percent...but the payout was good...got about .014 btc after 14 hours or so with avg speed of 1.7 mh/s with the rejects.

I think Waffle Pool is the best so far...what are the other Multipools? I will test them all...

I like how Waffle Pool shows you what coin your mining and what you mined and how many coins you mined per coin...its bad to the bone.

Clevermining is no good if you are in Europe, they only have US servers so latency is very high with lots of disconnects.

Hi guys,

I will do some shameless self promotion here.

We are starting a pool, that have the anonymous mining option like middlecoin, but also an option to create an account and get more features and information.

Also it has full transparency and great profits.

I have been gathering statistics for the last 11 days, comparing our profits to other pools. Middlecoin still beats us, but hopefully not for long.

www.profitminer.net

We only have a EU mining server right now, but two US servers will be added later today.

Also we are still in very early beta, and more features and functions + statistics and transparency is added constantly.

This is bitcoin per. 10.000 Mhash
Calculation is done pr. 1 mhash, I just removed 0.0 in front of every bitcoin amount. All the stats can be found on the websites. Except for middlecoin where you will have to do your own calculations to confirm.

After this MC Fail... (and H20 dont caring about anymore), i went to Waffle, so far its being a good pool...

But i will go to where it fills my pocket more... So i might give this pool a chance...

honestly fuck h20 ... he has a couple of "BAD DAYS"  and rips 50 from his users

he has been like this from the beginning

Fuck u h20 u r a cunt and u know it ...

money corrupts and u seem to be living the BFL MtGox life

asshole

He has done amazing work and delivered by far the best profits of all the multipools. You're just a jelly little bitch.

The past few days he seems completely absent, so probably something happpened IRL, I don't know. Just use another pool and don't be a such dick about it.

Shut the fuck up u moron ... I have been mining on and off middle for the last 6 months

This cycle repeats itself all the time .... 3-4 good days and then shockers

I am off to clevermining ....transparency and on averga much higer payouts than the middlecoin tango off 2 steps forward 1 step back

You should've spelled it "moran." Would've suited your character better. Grin
People keep calling h2o a scammer but they never have any evidence to back it up. All the "bad days" and alleged scams in the past were just database hiccups and manual trades that gave some pretty great payouts one day later. Besides, it doesn't make any sense for someone who's earning 10 BTC a day just from his 3% fee to fuck up his reputation and risk his regular earnings by "stealing ur coinz."

Of course the past week was different, and I don't know what's up with that, but I'm not making any stupid claims either.

I promise you, that is not the case. Also I don't think H2O can be called a scammer, as middlecoin have been the best paying coinswitching pool for a long time Smiley

I know you where probably joking but..

All our company and contact info are available on the site. We are also SSL EV certified, so our company address and contact details have been verified by a independent third part Smiley
