Time to say goodbye to Middlecoin from me also. Switched to Wafflepool, lets see how that goes.
MC owner probably died from overdose cocaine

I would have stayed at MC if he had continued to give updates through Twitter

honestly fuck h20 ... he has a couple of "BAD DAYS"  and rips 50 from his users

he has been like this from the beginning

Fuck u h20 u r a cunt and u know it ...

money corrupts and u seem to be living the BFL MtGox life

asshole

He has done amazing work and delivered by far the best profits of all the multipools. You're just a jelly little bitch.

The past few days he seems completely absent, so probably something happpened IRL, I don't know. Just use another pool and don't be a such dick about it.

On the positive side, now everyone else is leaving, I might come back.

Got all those servers to myself - would now expect to get very low rejects.  Grin

H20, as it's just the two of us now - can you drop the fee to 1% and a doughnut?

Honest opinion:

- Middlecoin has been great until recently.
- Hope h2o is ok IRL so he can address the issues.
- Not addressing the community is not cool, though.
- Once the issues are fixed I'll be back.
- Let's face it, every pool could have bugs/downtime.
- For now it's Wafflepool for me, too!

He was on the forums yesterday and didn't bother to communicate with his users, (Last Active February 18, 2014, 05:59:19 AM
), I'm telling you, this is starting to look like a repeat of the DOGE string along that got so many peoples money.

Yes. I agree. This is a business. Earnings thousands of dollars a yet and completely ignoring your customers is a sign of the general poor sentiment towards customers and the business attitude. The idea that communicating with your customers is worthless is a joke. H20 may believe he has some type of secret weapon but that's not the case. His payouts are not any better than the other pools if averaged out. The only difference is it appears to be because some days there are large conversions of unexchanged coins which cause large payouts.

It is just disappointing to see something with so much upside potential come completely down because of a lack of communication. I switched to wafflepool for now. Better communications and more consistent payouts.

MC has lost 30-35% of its hashing power over the last 2 days.

So sad. RIP

That is pretty fucked up.  No Tweeter updates, either.

It looks like overall daily balances are still lagging far behind what they used to be,  so something must be seriously wrong with the system.

He's down to under 16 Ghash now.

I'll echo what someone else brought up in that this may be intentional to shake out smaller users for whatever reason,  although the bigger guys are being affected as well.

I hope that my remaining immature/unexchanged balance gets added to my remaining exchanged and I get paid,  that's my only  concern at this point.

WTF?

Middlecoin has lost 25-30% of hash rate in a few days. That's serious money down the H20 drain.

I don't care who you are, that's a serious loss on the amount of BTC trade that was taking place each day. Add to that the prospect of losing regular customers. I say again, WTF.

There must be something going on here. Did middlecoin get hacked, Goxxed or were some BTC or altcoins stolen, was there a stupid problem associated with the dogecoin fork?

OK, there have been conspiracy theories about everything from who shot JFK, to did the USA really land on the moon?

My conspiracy theory is that H20 got caught up with the dogecoin fork.

OR middle coin has been good up until DOGE halved because it was mining DOGE all day long...think about it, the payouts went to shit. I think doge halved 6 days ago which is shown on his charts where payments are almost halved. Maybe the pool wasn't all that good to begin with...

No. The only issue was blind faith people on this forum had and the attacks on anyone who posed any legitimate questions. H20 is overly-protective of something that isn't so secretive. Other pools are doing the same thing he is but are more transparent about it. He was the first to offer this type of pool but it seems like with the profits he was making he got lazy or greedy. For a while, the pool was still growing at a rapid rate without any communication from him. I think he just got used to it but now that there is competition in town, his strategy is more transparent. Yes, he does trade in layered orders as opposed to auto-exchanging or selling at the market rate - this helps push the price of the coins slightly up if there is volume. Is that a long-term benefit over the competition? It remains to be seen.

It was too big anyway; no pool should be a quarter or a third of the DOGE or LTC network.

Profit switching pools go back to 2011.

When you lose so many customers and trade in a short space of time, one twitter post is worth the effort.

It don't matter middlecoin is pretty much dead...stats dead...no response from h2o and no twitter feeds and hash rate dropping like a rock. Did anybody get paid yesterday?

I did not even mine a whole day on clevermining and I got more than I have gotten from middlecoin in 3 days.
I am on waffle pool and it's even better.

Plus all these pools have cheaper fees.

Plus nobody is defending this pool anymore! It's like this pool is on autopilot to nowhere!
