You can tell pretty easily which coin it is mining ...

Currently it is fastcoin ... Difficulty shown by cgminer: 63.5k

divided by 65532 = 0,96899 = Difficulty of Fastcoin (according to coinchoose)

Way to let the cat out of the bag fallout.

Multipool - Always mine the most profitable coin - Scrypt, X11 or SHA-256!

Coinchoose shows different difficulty. Don't know where he got those numbers from. Also that's not the right coin to be mining when other factors are taken into consideration we are mining a coin that is currently less profitable than litecoin.

Coinchoose shows 0,96828 ... cgminer only shows 3 digits of difficulty, so of course you get a small error when dividing by 65532 ...
right now its nibble ... (118k/65532 = 1,8 ... nibble diff = 1,79893)

But still .... don't know how the pool chooses which coin to mine

As a note to everyone wondering why the hashrates on the site are different from the ones on your client, this is because the site only sees shares submitted, so bases the hashrate on those. However, the chance of getting a share is slightly random, and the 512 difficulty here makes it more random than the 256 or dynamic difficulty found other places. So your hashrate will often show slightly off; sometimes high, sometimes low. This doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong, it's just the way the randomness of coin mining works.

Thank you..  I kind of had the feeling this was the case...

I have only been on this pool going on 3 days now but I am making more then when I was mining LTC..  LTC I was Avg about $4 to $5 a day whereas here looks like I might Avg $7 to $8 a day..  In a week or two I should have a better idea what I am Avg..

currently keeping this pool on hold for mining, seeing as few people are experiencing some issues , plus for me it has been less profitable than mining altcoins & exchanging....by like 25-30%.

Might give it another go in a few days Smiley

The OP HAS to get more invloved and active in this thread when issues are reported..  The last 2 days seems like OP only drops by once per day..   At this rate more and more people will drop out of this pool unless OP can show us he is on top of things..

Maybe he just wanted his free Pizza and that was it?Huh      Cry

For what it's worth, I'm about 50-60% ahead over the past 24 hours (ex. for every $10 I'd have gotten I've gotten 15-16) so this is a pretty big jump up!

My stats also have not updated or changed since sometime early this morning..  Not sure if that is normal?  The last 2 or 3 hours even my Hash rate has not changed..  Normally I see it change quite often..  Something is not right..

Edit:  My Stats just changed..  So I guess its normal for the Stats to sometimes not change for several hours?

It wasn't the only problem. It had also halted trading. And it affected the new profitability calculation that takes volume into account. Volume since the page stopped updating wasn't taken into account.

It's been fixed.

And I'm going back to sleep.

I'm getting a huge amount of discarded shares, example:
1 Hour Mining: 200 Accepted Shares, 800 discarded.

Is there a problem with my cgminer config or with the pool?
