Purely for scientific analysis, let me set up my rigs to jump on to some pure alt-coins... I'll do some measurement on stales and rejects

I'll set them up for all of these, but while I'm doing that, if you would put them in the order you'd like to see data...

Litecoin (LTC)
Terracoin (TRC)
FeatherCoin (FTC)
Mincoin (MNC)
WorldCoin (WDC)
DigitalCoin (DGC)
NovaCoin (NVC)
LuckyCoin (LKY)
Argentum (ARG)
PhenixCoin (PXC)
MegaCoin (MEC)
BottleCaps (CAP)

Only FTC and LTC would give you reasonable test results, because the majority of the hashrate on those isn't profit hopping.

All the others increase in hashrate by 10X or more, when they move to the top of coinchoose. Like mincoin goes from 30 MH/s to over 1 GH/s when it's the most profitable.

FTC would be the most useful to me. We have only mined a few hours of LTC in this pool, so I don't have the data.

Edit: also, I would only do the test when FTC is on top of coinchoose. Although there is less profit hopping on FTC, it probably plays a role.

I too dont really know the ins and outs of cgminer but I have very low reject rate here..   Around 1 - 3 %

I have the same setup as H20..  2   7970's  I average about 0.05 to 0.06 BTC per day(more on the 0.05 side).  I was wishing and hoping I would Avg about 0.06 since 0.05 is not much better then when I was mining LTC..

H20 since your setup is about like mine, are you Avg about what I am..

I am hoping over time, and as H20 tweeks things I will end up Avg 0.06   Grin

Yeah, I have a very low reject rate. It's actually at zero percent for the last hour. I'm 16ZMMv99GqprG7vZmmZLA4KJbWHi9ziLXw. I'm underclocked on one card due to ventilation issues.

Maybe that's it. 7970s might be good at high block rate coins. They might have a faster work chunk turnaround.

You should be seeing better results than LTC mining for sure. Are you sure you'd be making 0.05 BTC a day just mining LTC? I can't wait to get the graphs up to confirm that.

I was getting about 1.5 LTC per day so that = out to about 0.45 to be more accurate...    correct?

I always(at least for now) figure an Avg price of  1 LTC = $3

So 1.5 = about $4.50

Thanks for the info. It does indeed appear that 200 bottlecaps that were sent to crypsy an hour ago never made it. So if we lost any, it was only 200, or 0.03 BTC worth.

Is it possible at some stage to offer payouts in Litecoin rather than Bitcoin? Don't mind at the moment using Bitcoins, but I tend to use Litecoins more atm, and just thought I'd ask out of curiosity. Smiley

It's possible, but if so it won't be for months.

We are now trading on three exchanges. And we have 26 coins in the rotation.

Can you post something like: "Yesterday, we made 0.04 btc /1mhs" ? Assume reject rate is 0%. I really want that !

Yeah, I goofed. I'm undoing an exchange that was entered into the database wrong. It'll be back up in a bit. Edit: Stats page is now updating again.

It is indeed. As soon as blocks mature, they're sent off to btc-e, and as soon as they're received, they're put up for sale.

I'm watching the pump. Pretty entertaining. Although it's a bit long for a pump, so maybe it's actually a rally on some secret news, and they're saying it's a pump as cover.

I don't. I've been working on this pool every day for 2 weeks. It will be nice when it's "done". It has been a lot of fun to work on though.
