The market already has altcoins which, in their characteristics, exceed the capabilities of bitcoin. This is true, this is already there, but the most important question is only in the popularity and reliability of bitcoin.

I think many have already claimed that they can do this or that or, in line with this topic, to beat bitcoin. However, no one has actually succeeded because it would be quite difficult to persist against a bigger opponent, that's the general rule.  But from what I see if the bitcoin price drops it will also affect all altcoins for example today.  Grin

There are no coin today that could beat bitcoin interms  of market caps and price variance. Btc takes every coin lead to the ups and downs. If btc falls so as all the altcoin in the market. Being the first coin created its the responsibility of btc to carry those another token in the market.

BTC cannot be defeated by any coins. It is the father and the king of crypto currencies and it will hold this position forever. New coins may have the possibilities but they cannot defeat BTC.

When fluidledger said it can beat Bitcoins it refers to the fact that it can beat its market cap:

www.fluidledger dot com migrated to:

www.bitcoinfuji.com

Bitcoinfuji honored the fluidledger Free ICO and has sent coins to over 1000 participants in this forum

Read this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3166442.0

Some market participants have their coins on the market at 100 USD per coin. This tells us that market participants have a lot of faith in this project.

Bitcoinfuji management have coins on the market at 10 cents each to give everyone an extraordinary opportunity.

probably this just a joke, in many years bitcoin was the number one coin in the world.
as of 2018 it is the top one and the price is very high compare to other coins and the demand of this coin is unlimited thats why no one can beat bitcoin .

there are indeed a number of altcoins that have good prospects for now and for the future, and maybe the altcoins that you have mentioned also have good prospects too, but that doesn't mean they can beat the BTC that still stands at the top of the market rankings, and even eth, which is predicted to be able to beat the BTC only until now, can only be attached to the BTC. I personally think it would be very difficult for altcoins, especially altcoins to beat BTC, there might be some altcoins that can match BTTC, just in terms of investment, like eth, which I think can match or even compete with BTC in terms of investment.

You can not say that immediately that new altcoins can beat bitcoin, the only way you can say that is by the data showing that the altcoin has taking over bitcoin, not just by prediction because customer do not believe in by sayings but actual data, but there is still a chance to overtake bitcoin.

I do not exclude that option. What is possible of a small coin to grow a second Bitcoin Grin  But not exactly now and not soon. After all, I still do not see that someone is already ready to replace Bitcoin.

Practice shows that such statements lead to a Scam, or the coin remains far behind.Promising violas do not like the noise.

Anybody can make a statement like that. But this doesn't mean they are valid. Maybe they have the potential but bitcoin is way up ahead of everybody.

How many such coins were and will be. None of them works with the idea of making an ideal for an investor or creating all the conditions for attracting to themselves, then the growth will be both demand and, accordingly, top positions. Everyone thirsts to surpass someone by any means.

At present, the preference of Bitcoin over the Altcoins has reached 50.4%. This suggests that people have more confidence in Bitcoin.

Not exactly beat bitcoin. I mean yes bitcoin is facing fluctuations right now but it still has the power to rise back. However, coins like XRP, EOS and PRG can give BTC a great competition this year.
