I think almost all of altcoins always saying that they are the next bitcoin or even surpass bitcoin in the future. But after a few months or a year bitcoin still remain as the most top coins in coinmarketcap.

That is what some ICO,s are saying this days but i bitcoin have passed such stage to be over ,it is still the father of all Cryptocurreny.
I fully support your opinion that bitcoin is the father of all crypto currency and where it will move will completely determine the behavior of altcoins. Therefore, all they say is really just marketing Yes, this is mostly so, but in January of this year ethereum did not follow bitcoin, it grew regardless of bitcoin. I like bitcoin and I have bitcoin coins in my wallet, but it seems to me that only one coin can catch up with bitcoins. This is ethereum.  Maybe bitcoincash can do it. Bitcoincash also has potential to defeat bitcoin. People say, fruit is falling not far from its tree. It mean bitcoincash has similar characteristic with bitcoin. If bitcoin can be replaced by another altcoin and i dont support bitcoincash would be the one but etherium. |

I already heard that joke so many times before and just like I've said it's only a joke because until now bitcon has never been beaten at all, bitcoin is still in the top of the crypto world and remains still in the number one position and still the most highest valued crypto currency up to this time. They can't even beat Ethereum in the second place so how much more if it will be for Bitcoin.

The title misleaded me  thought this is a discussion about that ICO but it was actually an advertisement, everyone can say they can beat bitcoin but bitcoin is bitcoin and it is the true heart of cryptocurrency says welcome to the world of advertising. These days you need to have catchy headlines. |

It looks like it is stupid. Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency that have been invented in our world so it is very impossible to some altcoins to beat bitcoin.

A lot of alcoin today listed in coinmarketcap and more coins coming up to be listed again but in line with your question, alt can beat bitcoin I don't think so..
All people joining here in crypto world knows the highest value today only bitcoin and no other alts like bitcoin and if there is alt to beat bitcoin, may be not yet born. remember bitcoin still the strongest coin in the cryptocurrency world.

For my opinion, Bitcoin cannot defeat of any altcoin or cryptos' right now and for the coming years. Its because, the status of bitcoin now is stable and very strongest. Also bitcoin is the most popular coin/currency right now and investor are always looking on it.
Altcoin is created to defeat bitcoin but in the reality bitcoin cannot be defeated of any of it. Because, the reason is, altcoin is a splitter coin from bitcoin. Notice that all altcoin is transferable to bitcoin because the reality is, bitcoin is the origin of all coins.
