Most scamcoins deliberately make no attempt to prevent instamining/orphanfest so it has taken until Nuggets launch to discover that if you have an extremely unpopular launch, with very very few miners, a starting difficulty of 2 can suffice to get you closer to your target difficulty than to four or more blocks per second.

This seems to have been a more popular launch, and with supposedly at least one large miner involved, so maybe 2 was not high enough starting difficulty with that many miners coming aboard at the start?

when compiling on linux (debian), i get this error:

make[1]: Entering directory `/home/bazkie/utils/quark-master/src/leveldb'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `libleveldb.a'.  Stop.

what to do? i have libdb installed..

Get the latest source. It's updated with the Makefile for leveldb on Ubuntu.

cd src/leveldb
make libleveldb.a libmemenv.a

then

cd src
make -f makefile.unix

One look at the starting difficulty usually identifies a scam right away before even bothering to mine the thing.

Its why scammers always "neglect" to include starting difficulty in their announcement / first post.

Shit yeah its a scam coin, why i deleted 10 minutes after starting. all blocks were orphans.

My negative trust rating is reflective of a personal vendetta by someone on default trust.

yeah lots of orphans, then again steven lam sucked up all the coins again.

steven why not give away some of the hoards that you gain each time??? i've never seen you do a give away thread as yet? why not start now?

cpu coins are best if there is no linux available, if they want to rape it with virtual instances then at least it will cost them a little more.
