This seems rather interesting. Code already developed, Sr. Members which cuts down on socks. I love the idea.

The penalty of not posting frequently in Bitcoin Talk

You won't be a Sr. Member until 240 days after you created your account. Assuming that you have posted during the activity periods.

i think it's very impressing ,interesting project  for SIRIUS A New smartchain to Compete with EOS/Qtum/ETH. but maybe for now you just distributed free token for senior member and above only,an hope so on the later maybe you can allocated the token for all member in bitcointalk community. i hope a new update for this project will be released soon

No one has posted anything in 11 hours.

The positive of having a Sr. Member air drop is that you're not going to get a lot of abuse, because people with socks are not going to be able to build such accounts the way the can with Newbie accounts. But it seems that open air drops, similar to Nem, can get a significant amount of activity.

Either it should be lowered to member, or the point must be driven to the Sr. Member that if this dev can produce what he says, then it can be a great opportunity and they must should active in this thread to help it grow.

There will be more than one distribution. The initial stage of Sr. member and above plus github is only one stage of the distribution.
There will be more opportunities to get some free Sirx for everyone.

When do you plan on starting. I want to see if I'll be able to make it. (My posting is not daily, so my possible activity time is well above 240.)

The initial stage will take about a month to complete, but considering the Holiday season we will be away around Christmas and New year to spend time with family.
If you make senior by the second week of January, you should be fine for the first distribution, if not, you will have another chance with other distributions.

What the hell is a smart chain? I don't really think this will work out at all, probably something like XENON. I will sell immeditaely.

If you don't know what something is, and look at that which you don't understand with an "What the hell?  Angry" attitude, then how can you even begin to speculate that which you have no idea of? I say that because I noticed that in parts of life with people thinking they're right about the issues, with extremely limited understanding of whatever they are criticizing.

Though I realize you're just trying to build activity points. Probably didn't even read the OP, since it clearly states that it's for Sr. Members and above.

correct Smart Chain is a blockchain that supports smart contracts.

What problems does Sirius solve that goes beyond ETH?

Initial cost of entry (ETH price vs Free),  no miner pressure ( Sirius is 100% MPOS )
Developer and community oriented free distribution vs ICO.
