I don't think the ether will ever take Bitcoin place. They have different purposes. But I think it willl always be around.Many people consider the ETH is outdated, besides, it has a lot of competitors over the past year, but I think here the key facts - a strong and public team of developers who are working on improvements.

It seems to me that ethereum is ending its career in the world of cryptocurrencies. After the founder has left the project, the coin will only become cheaper. I doubt that ethereum has good prospects. Bitcoin is not going to have any issues with crushing Ethereum if it had to. Both were nice coins for holding throughout this month. |

I would say Ethereum is the son of Bitcoin. Since there are no founder of Bitcoin the network and it's codes may get slow and may not cope to the fast pace but with Ethereum, It is possible to solve these problems but will never surpass bitcoin in my opinion

Ethereum is not going to be the next bitcoin and it does not need to be. Each has its own purpose and utility. Ethereum is in the world if it's own. It's very popular for smart contract creation and ICO hosting. Bitcoin on the other hand has its unique function too.

Well in my opinion Ethereum will be successful in the future, maybe now the price is cheap but everything will return to normal so don't panic, maybe it can also be better than bitcoin in the future all that could happen.

As long people still consider bitcoin as a reserve cryptocurrency that is just impossible, the latest data showing that bitcoin dominance is already increasing significantly from just under 30% after the crazy rise of ETH to 56% meaning bitcoin has established its own position as a #1 cryptocurrency for another year and maybe another upcoming years. |

No, I don't think anything can move bitcoin from the first place. Maybe in the distant future, it will happen, but not today and not now. If you do not solve all problems, that the Etherum may even fall below 5-th place in the ranking. |

Yes it is true that Ethereum is a very much promising cryptocurrency currency of this era. I don't think so that in overall it is better then bitcoin but it has potential to overcome the bitcoin popularity and price.
