Yes it is, ethereum is pumping as bitcoin pumps, that is why it may be huge this coming year. And also most ICO is using ethereum this is one of the factors that make it up. I recommend you to hold eth because this will be beneficial to us. |

If we study the gap on the price and demand of bitcoin and ethereum, there are lot of big differences. Bitcoin's demand is really on its peak right now, while ethereum's is just right. The price of Bitcoin is really high compared to ethereum. Ethereum would not compete with Bitcoin, vice versa. They have a lot of differences but the bottom line is Ethereum wont replace Bitcoin nor surpass Bitcoin. |

Bitcoin cannot be replaced with Ethereum, even though Etheruem can surpass Bitcoin in distribution. It is one of the majors, but it cannot be assumed as it will be the major crypto-currency in the future. As far as price speculation is concerned, time will definitely tell us what its actual worth is.

Today ETH has a good values. It grows toward the BTC. But it is more interesting what happens when it stabilizes.
If ETH continues its growth it will be possible to say: "ETH is future".

Ethereum is a great project and it has been stable enough for a while, however it won't be better than bitcoin and there are some others competitors like Dash etc that will gain investors too.

It should be if something bad happens.
Although I really prefer litecoin because of the faster transactions and the fees are low.
Ethereum have its own problems which are not dealt yet and others are like forgotten already.
With the bitcoin bloated in nunber of users I would love to see more users adjusting to other coins.

Bitcoin will be still the king and ethereum would be the best altcoin queen..
Since bitcoin is already been accepted by many company and country bitcoin will be still take the 1st position in marketcap ethereum is growing but its too far from bitcoin.. look at the price of bitcoin compare to ethereum and ask other people if they known ethereum than bitcoin... because here in my country they know bitcoin..

Ethereum is in the second place in the marketcap but i think it will not replaced the bitcoin. Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency and it make a noise in the online market with its verry high price and i think ethereum will not.

Right now more altcoins have grown bigger and better in value. Majority of them were functional on the ethereum smart contract platform. As predicted the growth of ethereum has taken effect making a new ath today. Expect the same to continue and progress big among the altcoins.

Ethereum is to blockchain what Microsoft Windows is to the tech industry.
It is definitely here to stay, but it won't replace Bitcoin. It has a different functionality.
I'm currently viewing Ethereum as a safer investment than Bitcoin. Ethereum has a leg to stand on because there are thousands of other tokens built on top of its blockchain platform. But the value of Bitcoin is based solely on trust in the system. If people start to lose trust in Bitcoin's real intrinsic value, the price will drop. But Ethereum has a greater intrinsic value due to its functionality.

what I know is that ethereal is a part of altcoin, it's just that ethereal has its own advantages compared to other types of altcoin, which is now quite popular among other types of altcoin, which makes ethereal so special among crypto users. not to mention some of the things that make ethereal so great and one of them is that nowadays there are very many developers of a project that has been using ethereal as pkaform for the project being developed. but if you are talking about bitcoin I think even though ethereal is now quite popular but in my opinion it will not be able to replace the greatness of bitcoin which until recently bitcoin is a virtual currency number one with so many investors willing to invest with bitcoin.

Not sure if ethereum will be the next bitcoin, but what is sure is that Bitcoin is currently not made for massive usage.
7 transactions per second when there will be millions of user on the blockchain... LOL, don't make me laugh, it's pure shit technology.
There are plenty of coins so much faster and so much secure than bitcoin. So I'm 90% sure that in less than a decade, bitcoin will be surpassed easily by a real technology.It's just that currently, it's the historical coin, and 90% of the population don't know at all what is blockchain, and only know crypto as the bitcoin.
Ethereum I don't know. But something else than bitcoin, yes for sure.
