Maybe Ethereum can give us a bright future but i think it cant beat bitcoin easily. Ethereum is the second coin in market as long as bitcoin remains on top and its value continue to grow the gap between them is extending but eth can change our life too. Goodluck

I think Ethereum has great potential and I see it reaching $1000 this year and even go higher in 2–3 years! Just buy some Ethereum , lock them up and look at it in 1 year. May be it will be one of the best investments you have ever made. Their technology is just too good to not break through and while Bitcoin is already outdated , this is just the beginning for Ethereum! One day Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin as biggest cryptocurrency.

are you sure of your argument? I think to make ethereum as the next bitcoin very difficult. in my opinion it is currently the crowd hold back the ETH but they sell to exchange with bitcoin. so to match the position of bitcoin is not possible, in terms of price is very different

Hello. I dont think Ethereums marketcap will surpass bitcoin any time soon but its crypto so who knows. In the long run I see way more usecases for Ethereum as for Bitcoin (even if the have the Lightning Network)
So far its all speculation

Ethereum is part of the future. New superstructure. In the 21st century, more talented programmers and protocols will appear. I believe in the revolutionary nature of events related to crypto-currencies in general, this has already changed our world. This is a fact with which it is impossible to argue. The guys who are destined to change this world forever are already among us. They're just kids. They grow in a world where they will inherit bitcoin and Ethereum!

Ethereum is very different from Bitcoin in nature. So no, it cannot, by design, be the next Bitcoin. Plus it is not the future, it is the present. Who can really know what the future will bring. New exciting blockchains being built as we speak.

I think bitcoins has nothing to do in regards of ETH, both are used for different things. I think ETH will grown as much as BTC when it has the same time from, BTC is really old in compare to ETH. |

OP asking if ethereum will be next to bitcoin, yes it is we all know the stability of this coin in the market even value already fell down in a past couple of months but in the future it would be rising accordingly like bitcoin. |

He has good chances to become the second bitcoin, but I do not think he will exactly replace it. Although in the future everything is possible. As for me there are still some options that can replace bitcoin in the future.
