yes we girls use this digital currency too.in fact we like to save it not like boys who spend their coins uselessly to an unknown site and then cry like a baby that his coins were stolen
Best reply ever  and im not sure if you are a real girl anyway but yes it is an absolute reply, unlike girls, boys tend to double, triple their coins and putting them in a scammy sites |

Wow! I've never seen a topic like this before! So this is my stand: using bitcoins isn't a male-only thing. There are no restriction to who wants to use it. Of course, it's in the norms of the society that men are more likely to be involved in techno-thingy, but who knows? There are girl gamers! Of course there will also be girl bitcoiners out there.  |

Some girls do this, yes. And it's a fact. There's even a subreddit for it. But the way it is sounding looks like it's generalizing all girls in one statement. :3 Sorry, but it sounded a bit off, at least for me. |

My girlfriend has 6 bitcoins. Acquired them when they were around 50-60. She isn't the shopaholic type though and doesn't need/want to spend them.
Did she acquire them on her own or did you buy them for her....i feel the difference is important within the context of the OP's question. |

I remember how i got introduced to bitcoins , I used to daily go to a cafe near my house for coffee and there used to be a bunch of guys/girls , they used to do some techy stuff and all , i used to see them daily and one day just out of curiousity , i asked them and they started with some crap about mining and it seems pretty ponzi to me but it got my interest and here i am  |

Perianne Boring, host of the Boring Report: I really loved to read the Boring report on Bitcoin. It was nice to see such regular reports on Bitcoin, that too by a woman. Reports by Kashmir Hill on Bitcoin too were a regular feature, some time ago. |

How many bitcoiners have you actually seen ? I go to Bitcoin conferences all the time. The only females I see there are the hired booth bunnies that are supposed to show their tits and look pretty. There was one woman I met that had Bruno on a leash at the Las Vegas conference. She was really into Bitcoin but that's the only one I know of. |

Interesting view points on this thread. I was always on the thought that of course every sex, race, and anything else uses technology and Bitcoin. I am sure there are more dominate uses for men than women in Bitcoin but it would be interesting to see how much that gap is.
