This may be and is probably correct, but the issue is not that the women do not want to use it, it is that they are not aware of how to properly use it.  They want to go shopping at local retail stores and there are not to many stores out there that take BTC.  So the problem is not women spending, it is the stores not taking the payment.

I suppose allot of girls are using BTC, but they don't merely announce they are girls in forum etc... (that will mostly draw suspicion or insults to them), there were girls in BTC conferences so I suppose there are ones using it.
