Judging from the participants of various Bitcoin Conferences I can say that women are not really interested in cryptocurrency.
It is nothing new because IT world is dominated by men anyway. We have to believe that with greater bitcoin adoption more women will be attracted.

I do not see that IT world is dominated by men. Because in my software company, there are more women than men as girls are getting their engineering graduations easily than boys.

Yeah they use like its going out of fashion in our house, although its usually on credit cards..... i really wish they would use bitcoins.  When i mention bitcoin to the missis its usually greeted with a yawn......

Girls are usually more protective when it comes for many. I had some thoughts to buy when bitcoin lowered from $1200 to $700 and also it showed some stable price there. But my wife stopped me from buying just with some knowledge from her friends.
Girls are using bitcoin. But more carefully than men.

Not only women, both of genders will use bitcoin more than fiat when bitcoin enters mainstream.
But the fact, currently girls who are using bitcoin are very less compared to men, so far I have been observing in my office and with neighbors. Main reason for this must be lack of promotions targeting women.

Obviously, women are not interested in earning money, as pointed out by me in several threads.

They are interested only in earning a man, that earns them money, so that they can use that mans money for shopping.

Why would any woman spend time and effort to learn how to make money, when they can just use their tools to charm a guy that will give them money.

We would love to see more female Bitcoin entrepreneurs. I think the female online retail market is a hugely untapped demographic for Bitcoin to expand and grow into. Google demographics data shows a huge bias towards males in the world of Bitcoin. This is a HUGE opportunity!

Well Actually I think females can be on top of the entrepreneurship just like guys too, for me equality is needed for bitcoin to grow there is a female leader sometimes that gets the job done at times and this issues about gender inequality should stop. 

I agree, the current state of gender inequality is sad, but thankfully us internet geeks generally don't discriminate against websites made/designed or coded by girls.

From my relatives and my friends there is no girl involved in bitcoin, maybe there are in forum because of different countries but near me none.

from that way of thinking then you are not thinking out of the box, I don't know why this topic occur here in the forum but from my point of view all people can use bitcoin even if your a male, female, gay, lesbian, old or young all you need is a knowledge on earning bitcoin and your good to go!

You are wrong bro, girls uses bitcoins very effectively as we do, my gf uses it every now and then and she is also earning it, people say that gender doesn't matter when it comes to bitcoins but it does matters, just imagine if girls gets into bitcoins then the bitcoin community would be reaching to a new level, and yes if girls are made aware that they can do shopping with the use of bitcoins there would be more number of girls in the community as compared to boys.

I'm sure girls do use bitcoins just as we are all doing it. It doesn't have any effect on the bitcoin market though. But it's nice to see different people get into bitcoin.
