Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I have my office girl friends that understand how to use bitcoin because I taught them. At the first glance, it hard to convince them that bitcoin can be use for purchasing just like other currency. I show some example how do I earn bitcoin by investing & gambling then they got interest to learn more about bitcoin

hmmm and hmmm again not really a good idea i think since bitcoin transaction is slow and if you are in a hurry, i think they would prefer cash than bitcoins since it takes time to confirm a transaction  |

Bitcoin is one way. Lots of safety there for a one on one interaction. Even if you get paranoid and send it on to your home wallet, you're better off. |
