Sorry but when 2FA is available? will not send any funds in the online wallet right now.  who takes that risk?
But great project ! Set up now qt wallet x64 and linked it inside, great feauture...  Cheesy

Just few mins ago Coinmarketcap added marketcap and circulating supply values for us.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-interest/

this is the new bittconnect ?  Cheesy  lol

Nope Smiley..

Interest coins are generated by mining (12.42 to miners, 1.08 to interest pools) and you dont send your coins anywhere from your own wallet.

The wallet works even "offline" (if you download the java file, you can run it from your computer). It doesnt save anything to the server, its as secure as your password is, make your password as complex as private key and its that safe. 2fa wouldnt help a bit if someone has your password.

"This page uses javascript to generate your addresses and sign your transactions within your browser, this means we never receive your private keys, this can be independently verified by reviewing the source code on github. You can even download this page and host it yourself or run it offline!"

You can ofc use the electrum wallet:

Your undertaking will bring a normal hobby that we already use to it with banks, sounds involved for me. I liked that there are two cycle interest, in particular the one with weekly payment. I think this thought will entice learners to crypto world
And.... Bitcoin is the two first crypto forex and has some drawbacks. If this project can make "bitcoin" besides problems, it will be good.

Nice, HitBTC is not the, what you might say, 'friendliest' of exchanges but it is a large exchange with lots of trading, can only be good for BCI.

If I have 100 coins in my wallet; how much will I recieve weekly /monthly... Can anyone explain please.. 🙏

There is a calculator on our homepage, the frontpage of it. www.bitcoininterest.io

Weekly, around 0.49BCI / week

Monthly, around 1.93 BCI / month

Those are atm estimates, it all depends on the pool size (mining) and how many people are staking weekly or monthly

Hello. Thanks for creating BCI!

I was wondering how will interest payments/pool be affected once mining is complete? Does that change anything?

After mining ends coin needs to evolve, there is multiple ways to do it and we havent decided anything yet.... Because there is no hurry.

blocktime 10min, 6 blocks / hour... 13.5 coins / block = 81 coins in hour
81 x 24 = 1944 coins / day
1944 x 365 = 709560 coins / year
3973108 coins unmined (this number is from yesterday, i just copy pasted this from answer i made in Discord)
3973108 / 709560 = 5.6 years until the mining ends

Many projects may look risky, but Bitcoin Interest looks safe. I think that you still need to read more about this project if you invest in it

[Bitcoin Slumps 5% to Lowest Level Since February]
Bitcoin dropped 5 percent to its lowest level since February following reports of price manipulation. It fell below $6,200 Wednesday and has struggled to regain footing after dropping 10 percent this weekend. Prices began stumbling after a study was released by the University of Texas saying most of bitcoin's rise last year was due to price manipulation on popular exchange Bitfinex.( @coinnessofficial  @coinness_news )
