Alt are falling every time when bitcoin rises or falls in price. For  the succcessful growth of altcoins bitcoin must be calmed down

According to 2015 and 2016 BTC always has a correction during the NY week. I guess 2017 won't be an exception. Moreover there is the possibility that alts will follow the bitcoin trend and they will be corrected too for sure.

I agree with you and we have seen this before and I think this time, many altcoins will down again because bitcoin give a sign to go up. but although bitcoin is up, I hope that don't all altcoin that will go down and I think there will be another altcoin that will survive because of bitcoin is rise.

Will altcoins crash again ?

There is no specific answer to this one but there are situations for it. I mean we can always speculate an altcoin going up or down in meantime if there is any news update for it. I mean this is crypto market, a decentralised one which can fall, which can rise and apart from that it can be manipulated like crazy. So the real answer stands a better chance to be true in the real time only. For now all the altcoins are behaving depending on the bitcoin, the more bitcoin spikes the more alts are spiking. This is true for at least top 10 coins and can be clearly seen on coinmarketcap. So you can always speculate alts depending on various factors rather than just single question.

Depends on bitcoin activity. When bitcoin increases, a lot of investors divert their attention to other alt coins hence making it pump. This allowed me to conclude that altcoins (most of them, especially popular ones) follow bitcoin's - they are directly proportional. This is why we can somehow predict its price by observing bitcoin's price.

Not alts crash during pre-christmas day but i can say this might happen again as people will turn their cryptos into cash for spending it in new year's celebration but i believe some alts will hold still and some will pump just like what happen few days ago.

So far everything still seems to be going up. These rise a lot, get knocked down 30% but still have higher values than before they started a run up. 2018 they will continue up but not without the occasional drops.

Its hard to say, its all depend on the market and the users, if the users only pumping the coin then the price is going to crash, but if the increasing is coming from real investors that invest the coin, then the coin wont be crash, but usually most of the alt coin is going to crash

It completely depends on the coin which we are holding some coins increasing price because of the potentiality of the project and investors belief some coins pumped that  already started dumping.

You cannot say it as crash as it is just correction phase. When it was in rising mode, no one was asking that why market is rising but when just correction happens, many people questioning it. Correction always there after a big rise and it is healthy for market.

Altcoins progressed big in the present year. At times along with bitcoin the altcoins too used to decline in value. This doesn't mean that altcoins were crashing at certain time interval. Already speculations were going on terming 2018 to be the year for altcoins. In this regard I believe altcoins will grow big than crashing.

Some Alts are still going to keep doing well, but some are really going to feel it when something crazy happens in the market that could cause people to start dumping their alts like we had few months back. In case something like this happens, then I really see that as another Christmas that is about to happen as those moments are always good to buy and hold most of these alts with prospects.

The crypto market is volatile. We will continue to see big gains and major drops. The trend IMO is still UP, but the crypto market is not for the faint of heart.

Thus, my advice is to only advice what you are comfortable losing.  Diversify by splitting your money into multiple investments. If you use Coinbase, consider their automatic investment program to dollar cost average your way into crypto.  And of course do your own research before you purchase a crypto.

Will altcoins crash again ?

That is really a big question which can be answered with maybe. No one will actually predict what will happen next and some sign that show before it will have changes in the market trend. Altcoins is just like bitcoin, sometimes it goes up and sometimes goes down. But because of having this flow of changes in the market, it really give chances for the investors to earned more rather than of having a stable price.

Yes this happens now every few days there is a pattern. NOW BTC and and the major alts are pumping while most of the smaller marketcap altcoins are being dumped 20-30% again. In a few days when Bitcoin has pumped, the profit takers will bleed Bitcoin profits out and altcoins will crash even more and then they will get pumped again so the whales can cash out more profit and the long term holders' profits are bled out by profit taker whales and day traders. This happens on a daily basis now this cycle so if you see a coin pump you will have to sell immediately because the pump doesn't last more than one or two days nowadays.

bitcoin is moving upward so people are dumping their altcoins to buy more bitcoin this happen everytime when bitcoin start moving upward so you can say that alt market may crash more
