The alts depends on BTC and ETH valuation imho-  ie. When btc and or eth crashed they to. Unless otherwise your altcoin have received investments from real clients, that’s the time youll see altcoins rising up it’s value as they earned more capitalization. Which means more valuation.

I would say it's correction and it's pretty normal rather than we said that it is crashed. Those things always happens on all altcoins even bitcoin especially when bearish market started or when the bull market has come to end and corrections on market will start for the market to be healthy.

Correction is much more pleasant term. I think that we can separate them something like that: correction - price goes down up to -20%, and the crash is when price goes below that.

depend on what altcoin you refering to..and depend on a whole market cap. if a whole market cap especioally bitcoin and ethereum crash. another alt coin probably will crash again and we will see 2014 drama for a second time then market need more time to recover, maybe 2-3 years latter after bitcoin halving is done. if you want to put your money on alt. put on vertcoin or litecoin. both coin is an old altcoin and not death after 2014 crashed. their community is so strong.

Of course you need to stay away from shit coins. With them nothing works, there is only loss.

I would not worry. Things can change rapidly in this market. Nothing is guaranteed, not even bear market.

The big problem here is that everybody thinks his coins are not shit. Otherwise they would go to zero a long time ago (people still holding their bags). How many shit coins are there in the top 100, give me an example. Someone was saying "no roadmap coins" - every coin right now has a roadmap. Any other criteria? I am not talking about crap like Quack Quack.

There are shitcoins everywhere though in to 50 coinmarket cap.
Like before experience, bitconnect is very famous altcoin and has very huge market cap but who knows now its fail and turn into garbage.

There is always a time that all altcoins will crashed again. Like what is happening today. Bitcoins is down again and all altcoins are down too. But it will recover soon.

One thing is certain in this market: there are ups and downs. So definitely, alts will crash once more.
But the coupling with BTC is what kills it the most. But this will definitely change. We are already seeing this somewhat with ETH: when you look at coin charts with ETH pairings they show less coupling with BTC.
