A couple days ago I posted here because of a transaction stuck in the void for which I paid 30 dollars fee.
Now, one hour ago, I sent a transaction with a 130 dollars fee.
ONE HOUR, STILL ZERO TRANSACTIONS, 130 DOLLARS FEE.
This could have been fixed this years ago with a trivial code change to adopt larger block sizes and/or a more frequent block interval. The core team chose not to, and sacrificed the right now solution for the someday solution. Either or both would have enabled massively more transactions, made mining more profitable, and driven BTC demand. Ignoring this was a huge mistake, and it has significantly hampered adoption of BTC as a functional day-to-day currency. It's not dead; it's crippled. There are people with the power to heal it, but doing so would require them to admit they were wrong. |

Bitcoin is recovering, it's too early to say or predict that bitcoin is dead, or will be dead. As we can see in the market, there's a lot of loss, and it's enough for some investors to think that bitcoin will die, but now it's starting to recovering, it's slowly crawling to the top again. Bitcoin is alive, and will never be dead, unless it's banned worldwide.
yes, bitcoin is recovering and I hope in this few days later, we can reach more than $8000 so we can make a good profit. bitcoin still alive and still survive no matter how hard the market and still continue to grows and reach make the highest price. bitcoin is too strong and will come back with the support from the people so don't miss the time to sell your bitcoin. |

Bitcoin is not DEAD and Bitcoin will not be dead in the coming days and will likely not be dead for a long time to come. If the entire internet was to be taken down globally, then potentially it could kill Bitcoin. Otherwise Bitcoin will never Die.
Nowadays Bitcoin's value has dropped but Bitcoin is going to keep growing as it has in the past.
Bitcoinis future of finance and it is here to stay.

Bitcoin is alive and will always be as long as there is an internet bitcoin will not die. Only people that hate bitcoin can say that and those who didn't believe in bitcoin. They will always think negatively instead of hoping that someday they will going to have a better future.
Yes, bitcoin is still living, as a matter of fact, it is on its recovering stage. The price is slowly increasing, sooner or later, it will get high again, we just need to be patient and hold our coins. |

Yes, bitcoin is still living, as a matter of fact, it is on its recovering stage. they don't think that bitcoin can pass in this time and I think they already sold their bitcoin in a long time ago or they still get in stuck in the high price. they don't believe with bitcoin and keep saying that bitcoin will be dead soon but the truth, bitcoin still stronger and become powerful in every situation and right now, I see bitcoin price is on the way to increase higher. |

So just because of some few moments of transactional fees that has been charged you just want to jump into conclusion that bitcoin is dead. Well for your information bitcoin is not dead and i believe it is going to get better as time goes on till it is finally used as a global currency.

It is crazy. I was just about to send 0.2btc and i have to pay more than 0.006 fee! This is outrageous! Almost 300k unconfirmed transactions and it's not getting any better
People are so fast to make conclusions, we are almost a year from that time and it is ok for us to have their commissions and fees, probably they will go down a little bit in the future but it is ok. |

People are so fast to make conclusions, we are almost a year from that time and it is ok for us to have their commissions and fees, probably they will go down a little bit in the future but it is ok. Yes the words dead is really worst. I think bitcoin is not going to dead anymore. In fact it is now rising verry fast. I believe that bitcoin will continue rising in the next few months, so before we are not lossing time or before its too late we need to buy more bitcoin today for good. |

You probably never knew Bitcoin's Blockchain ecosystem was really bad. I once made a deal, and it stuck in the gaps for 15 days. I think we should only use Bitcoin as an asset to hoard money and should not use it for transactions because of its bad Blockchain system.

I agree that high fees might cause issues in the transactions especially in the case of microtransactions but I believe that we will have a concrete solution for it soon.

The game is not over yet, bitcoin is only experiencing minor crash and it's not going to stay longer. It's not the first time it ever happens, but it doesn't mean it's dead. Bitcoin has been in the market for decade, it's the king of all cryptocurrencies, it has opened great opportunities, and changed the standard of living for those who trust and believe it. It's economy may be young and developing, but with bitcoin's potential, strong support system, and extraordinary performance it can't easily die. |
