We have already experiencing a huge dump of bitcoin and it could be possible that some of us are doing cash out fro. Different exchanger. We're not sure of it will continue until this year end and back by mid January. I know some of us are gettung worried for this, but isn't the end of bitcoin and I belief it would be back shortly.

I think so, Chritmas and happy new year make everyone need money for holiday.  But the price will be going up again in beginning of january. And next year the volume and market cap of cryptocurrency will bigger because more people will jump in to this crypto world.

Look at the monthly chart. BTC was 8k. That's an insane grow, a correction is just normal. Here corrections are sharp, since the market is young and people panic sell or panic buy.

Look at the fundamentals, look at how many people are looking at BTC, how many institutions are starting to trading it. It seems to you a bad period for cryptocurrency? It's seems not to me. It's just that every crypto in top 20 made ATH last week, they must correct at some point.

There is a panic at the market. So the main whales' goal is reached. In my opinion the Christmas and NY time fits very well for the grand correction. I guess it lasts for 1 month, maybe a little bit more.

They are cashing out to get some cash for the christmas holiday to spend some of their profits with their family,IMHO. So we better ready for the big dip and buy it as low as it can be so once it gets pumping again we can see how our investment will go.

Ouch. I saw the correction coming, but did not expect 22% os a loss now. I dont think it will get much worse now though since the top coins are worth as much as they were a month ago.
Fair points made in this thread about xmas, investors waking up etc.
Im taking note and will remember this for my future of this hobby.

That's possible, lot of people are preparing for the Christmas celebration and need cash and since the value really increases a week ago it's so tempting to cash out for almost everyone need money in this holiday season.

The whales are robbing the newbies, standard procedure. In one month price goes from 8000 to 19000, newbies buy, than when it goes back to less then 10000 newbies panic sell. There are lots of people in for a get rich quick, and they tend to buy when everybody is buying, and to sell when everybody is selling. Anyway, great opportunity for all the rest of us, to earn some bucks. Just, don't panic.

I dont think so, because everyone needs money for the christmas so some of them is cashing out. This is the one factor if the alternate coins is getting dump and some of the investors is cashing out. Just expect after this year there will be a pump in alternate coins and many investors will invest again in here. Dont be afraid if everyone is cashing out because there is a purpose why they are cashing out.

While some say hold your position in hopes that prices would start climbing again soon, the word 'hope' is the main problem here. We can't base our decision on emotion and it would be best to preserve our funds so we can gain another day of trading.

Just noticed a sudden drop in all the top cryptos, is there a large cash out for fiat in progress??

Large cash out pre-xmas is a natural movement. Should start pumping by late late 2017.

Normally when the price of a coin starts to decline that's the main fault of it's decrease. And 3 more days Christmas is coming and everybody is starting to have their wealth from crypto to welcome the holidays. But the opposite return of this to crypto is going to be great, bitcoin is starting to increase again as it went back at $14,000 and I hope it will be the start of it's come back.

I think that the investors withdraw their money to prepare Christmas Eve lol. Actually, this is just a normal thing. After 1 year trading and investing, this is the time to investors sell their coins to get profit. in 2018, they will come back and the market will rise again

It is bonus season. Everyone gets bonuses in the business world. A lot of people have to pay bonuses, others to buy presents. I kinda expected it, but the alts were running so great the last two days, that I didn't manage to withdraw prior to the profit taking.
