Before we enter in cryptocurrency world, we already know that prices are volatile. Maybe you are now just tired and stressed in this kind of world. Wish you have made a right decision mate

Perhaps he's just expecting too much when he started with crypto. Many people are like that thinking that bitcoin is easy money when in reality, you need to work hard as well and endure failures and losses.
yes, there are so many people who think investing in cryptocurrency is very easy and quick to get a profit, but the reality is not according to what they imagine. because in my opinion, we must be patient in order to get profit in cryptocurrency don't easily panic.

it is not easy for new people which don't know about trading and they only panic when they see the price is down. I think it is not good if we sold everything we have unless we want to make a new plan or strategy. I think it is better to be patient like HabiebRiziq said because we can see the price is up and down too often and I think we can take the profit while we can buy again if the price is down too deep. but for selling bitcoin, I don't think that I will sell all of my bitcoin because bitcoin is where I started to make money and altcoin give support for me to earn more bitcoin so far.

You my friend is what they call an average investor because you predict the future of your investment. You should know that the market is driven by sentiment, it surges and declines. You should have a stronger control over fear. Fear of losing. Be persistent and stick to your strategy (your set time frame) whether it goes up or goes down. Stay focused on your goal and you will see yourself winning in the end.

He that wears the shoe knows where it itches. Only you knows, experienced and can explain the situation better.
It was your call and perhaps the best decision given the prevailing situation.
Like a friend would say, nothing is worth trading my health / sanity for. As long as , your decision grants you your sanity, congrats.

if I sold everything I would have no more bitcoin unless I bought a large amount of bitcoin, and I did it to earn income that would support my life until the future. as many say that bitcoin prices are going up, and it will be a big question. sells large amounts of bitcoin better if bitcoin prices are at the highest price and will generate huge profits, if you sell bitcoin you need to buy bitcoins at low prices.

Yes, selling everything is good if you already have a profit. It's better to earn a small amount than to lose. Nobody knows what will be the highest price so if you wait for it there's a chance you might lose bigger amounts. So I think your move is justifiable.

Which is right, no matter what will other's said it's still your decision to make, whether someone or most of them will disagree but if you
feel that it's already time to let go then you should follow your decision, good or bad then you are the part taker of that certain decisions
so good luck to you.

If you contribute to crypto currency for a long time, then do not panic because of the fall, by 2018 there will be growth and most important is choosing the right portfolio!

It's totally depends on how much quantity you have and how much wealth you required to enjoy a good life. If you are getting a good amount of money from your calculated required money for you whole life, obviously  you can cash them and enjoy a tension free life.

Bitcoin was always unstable but recently I am also losing my patience sometimes. Any kind of stupid news can make people dump everything they have, Bitcoin goes down and brings altcoins down too all the time. I think you have to analyze your risk and take out some profit if you think this way you will fell more comfortable.

It's never a good idea to invest everything you have but only what you can lose. Also always wanting to have more and more never ends well, selling at certain points, making a profit and coming back to the game later work fine in this market.

Everyone has his own strategy, whether to sell, hold or even buy a bitcoin. It is up to anything that makes us gain profit.
And now I think a lot of investor who feel little disappointed about bitcoin price, because bitcoin price just up and down between $16.000 to $12.000. For investors who buy and hold the bitcoin certainly is not very profitable.but for traders, I think it's not too bad because it could buy when the price is $13,000 and sell again when the price $16,000.

This is an investment and the value of crypto currency is volatile depends on demand-supply in the market.
Panic selling isn't a mistake, it usually strikes to the newcomers in this business who had been hearing a lucrative investment only from this, when the price start to fall imaginable losses will got. I know these is hard time, when Bitcoin fall dip again, not everyone ready for it. As your decision to sold out your Btc and altcoins it's for safety way. Actually, this is good time for you being introspection, whether you are sure to invest in this crypto currency or just as a follower who could get lost later.

Your arguments make it so that your decision is even more reasonable. We all knew that Bitcoin is risky when we joined this community. Each one of us is responsable for his or hers own investments and we act as we consider to be most fit in regards to them.

Agree. But oh, I can't believe someone sold everything! It such a crazy decision but anyways if that's what makes them think that its right, best of luck on your investment. Invest wisely and be attentive on stock market value.

Your reasoning makes it so that your decision is even more reasonable. We all knew that Bitcoin is risky when we joined this community. Each one of us is responsable for his or hers own investments and we act as we consider to be most fit in regards to them.

Hi there,

first I want to say this (because I think many people that feel bad will read this as well) :

I think it that the price of BTC will go up again.. I cannot be sure, noone can, but it will probably be ok again.

But....I sold everything... My cryptocurrency that is Smiley
The reason is that I can not grasp the reason of the cause behind the value changing so much whenever it happens.

"ooooh now it went up a lot"...
"aaaaah now it went down a lot"

Then you google and google and wonder....WHY? Why did it go up a lot. Why did it go down a lot.
Sometimes you can find out about some guy with influence that said something on a conference on the other side of the World.
Sometimes it is because a site like coinbase made a mistake or introduced something new..

If lots of people buy, it goes up.
If lots of people sell, it goes down.
I understand...

But if I look at the big picture, it is still a mystery Smiley

So..while I still had a little bit of profit I sold everything.

I did not put in my life savings, but still enough to make me feel bad if the bitcoin would go down a lot more.

I also have to think about taxes (I hate doing taxes!). Here in Scandinavia I have to write down everything. All the order numbers, the amounts,,.... I will take me hours of looking up how to do it properly.
And then I have  to pay 30% taxes over the profit because they validate the bitcoin like a lottery here (and I see the resemblance as well!)
I also bought it from websites from other countries and then the amounts are of course in the wrong valuta... .....horrible....  Wink

I wish all of you "bitcoiners" a very happy 2018. May all of you have profits!! (I feel like a ferengi all of a sudden)

And ehh...I probably will be back again. Just like a lottery, it is a bit of a "kick" one can get out of having a profit.

Demesmaeker

Sorry, but I do not understand you. What did you sell?
