Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin

In the next year ETH will overtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency.  I would unload your bitcoin while you still can.

I also think that the ETH will overtake the BTC.  But this will not happen this year.  I think the price for eth will be higher than btc in 3 years.  Not earlier.

Hmm how are you so sure of your assertions?  It seems like you have seen the future. I would agree that Ethereum is a solid project and still has a lot of room for growth but to overtake bitcoin in the next year is not even close to possible. Even bitcoin at this level still has a long way to go.

I think this is a very plausible idea. Btcis just a means of payment while ethereum provides developers with huge infrastracture to develop better and better applications. The more popular apps there will be the higher will be the price of eth.

Nothing is impossible in crypto!

BTC is struggling with a lot of problems, if those issues are not properly solved and if somehow ETH manages to implement Casper in a solid way, than BTC will have some real competition.

Ethereum holds many coins under it so it is very much possible for ethereum to hold even the top place held by bitcoin for a long time. But this will be probably be in the future when everything in the cryptocurrency will no longer be shaky and volatile. For now it is not a bit possible yet. ethereum does not exceed bitcoin ever since more and more investors and bitcoin users than ethereum and the leader in cryptocurrency are bitcoin and second is ethereum so it does not override bitcoin.

IMO, I do think ETH is a good coin with potential and will grow with Bitcoin in the future. But I don’t think ETH is able to overtake Bitcoin in terms of volume or price.
