In the next year ETH will overtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency. I would unload your bitcoin while you still can.
Both platforms are very useful at the moment, Bitcoin as a currency and Ethereum as a decentralized platform for applications. In my opinion Ethereum is more useful at the moment than Bitcoin. |

Ethereum has more functions than Bitcoin. But Bitcoin being used as primary coin or currency its tough to overtake it. And nowadays Ethereum is also being accepted in ICO and also limited online store to accept as payment as the confirmation is fast and cost effective. I think it will be possible

Yes, etherum has more functions than Bitcoin for sure but the problem here is Bitcoin is the main currency of everything. Bitcoin is the the cell of cryptocurrencies which is the basis of every currency in this cryptos market. It's not that much strange when you saw Bitcoin is drop and everything else is dropped also with it. |

You know Internet right, Our usual internet is Internet 1.0, Ethereum ia the Internet 2.0 right?
Can Ethereum survive without internet 1.0? ofc nop.
Thats the same.. same goes with cryptocurrencys and exactly BTC and ETH.

ETH is pretty much all smart contracts, bitcoin is wealth storage and currency.
They're very different beasts and to be honest starting to show their age... I think next year is going to show massive changes unless both of these go 2.0

Yes, the huge chunk of all ETHs are owned by the creators, and they can sell a significant amount of their coins on the crypto exchange markets anytime dumping the price of ETH. But, in spite of these circumstances, Ethereum are growing, because a lot of ICOs are based on its blockchain. Today the capitalization of Bitcoin is 151 billion dollars, the capitalization of Ethereum is 63 billion dollars. I think that it is almost impossible that ETH will overtake BTC in the foreseeable future. |

It may happen but maybe it will need at least two years to overtake bitcoin. Ethereum still has a long way to run to the top, and it will be hard because many peoples still likes bitcoin.
