LET'S GIVE SOME HOPE TO THIS THREAD&COMPANY: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6ljFaKRTrI

So, LC will be resurrected in as many years as there were between Portal and Portal2? Still not possible with a CEO and management like this..

Good things come to those who wait.

You know what came to my mind? Somebody posted several days ago that if LC delivers, it would be the first ASIC company to do it on time. Oh, the irony..

Dear people buying at 0.002,

Can you not read an order book?

No. No they couldn't.

Maybe they can now.

Well, let's tl;dr for the Europeans then:

We're not hashing and seemingly won't be before Nov 1st, hashing rate and tech unknown.
Previously 2 TH/s hashing rate was at best transient and unsustainable.

Stock price will probably keep hovering the 0.0016s of the IPO for 6 weeks, and then Huh, unless it turns to be a "real" scam (which I don't believe it to be IMHO, just a fail).

Hope that is close enough to the cold truth and others will be able to minimize their losses.

Yeah, I could sell @ 0.0022. But I bought in @0.0034..anyway, below IPO, here we go. I don't know what to believe. I think I will just think about my LC investment money as not being at all, then it won't hurt if I buy in below IPO, and then they officially announce the Scam™

buy activeminer on bitfunder while it is cheap.

If you want to play it safe, cash out any speculative stock (especially those who are NOT MINING like ActM and this one), at least until they start hashing for real. Hold your BTC instead, they are going to rise in value more than the stocks IMHO Grin

actm is currently mining, please do not lie

far from full capacity, but they are paying out divs

TheSwede75, thanks for the substantial update, and your work thus far.  Smiley

I'm curious when Part II of the Q&A with Fabrizzio and others will take place?

The accounts are ready as per what Sam told me today. So it should not be long. The team has been exceptionally busy preparing for PCB production, analyzing and testing hardware models and first run but I will make it a priority to have them do Q/A as soon as possible.

promise delivered: no

What's the status of the locked shares?

I think they have more important things to focus on right now.

This would take a very, very short amount of time to complete and update us on.  There is no excuse for not doing it.

I agree to a large extent but it is slightly more complicated since the team is split between Italy/Europe and China/Hong Kong.

That said, I have made Sam aware that it is a priority, and I expect this to happen quite soon.

promise delivered: no

I have requested that customers that make "serious inquiries" be sent sample chips from first run and I am also trying to facilitate a miner and first run chips be send to me for review for the forum.

promise delivered: no

The focus of the Labcoin team for the next few weeks will be 100% on becoming maybe The First ASIC project to actually deliver according to project timeline. Something I would consider quite a feat in itself.

** FRIENDLY REMINDER **

****WARNING to all Labcoin Shareholders****

People there are no traces going to the chips on these circuit boards. There are no decoupling capacitors near the chips and there does not appear to be a ground plane on the board. Ask any of the DIY asic developers here on the forum and they will confirm that these things are absolutely necessary to create a working miner.

I was a big believer in Labcoin but i am completely out now. This is a disappointing end to what could have been a promising venture.

I welcome a realistic explanation from Labcoin but at this point I am seriously warning anyone to invest at their own risk.

Again, this is very serious, and I think the #1 worry for those who dare to hold! I think posting this pic was worse than posting nothing after all, because after reading a bit it looks seriously screwed indeed :-/

I'm not really sure if they're that odd - most of the pins should just be power, and only a few per chip are used for serial IO. What I found quite odd was the fact they seem to have only one discrete component per chip, my guess would be a capacitor

..

And these components only have traces running to one side of the part. There's no sign of connections running to *any* pads on the chips. It's completely impossible for this to be a working circuit board.

You know circuit boards have multiple layers, right?

Clearly it's a very strange looking board, no doubt.

Labcoin needs to upload the gerber files, or other cad files for that board so we can have a look at it.

My bad, ActM is hashing indeed, albeit marginally wrt their target rate.
LABCOIN isn't. And that is bad news. End of amendment.

I think screwed miners and investors should start some kind of comparison spreadsheet between assets here.

Lies indulge heavy losses, facts will get more of my attention next time Grin

Holding these explosive stocks is just bravery after all the issues that were raised in the 30+ last pages. Sad but true.

That assuption is sadly the least certain, as shares are not locked still...
