As you read this thread, please keep in mind that many of the people posting here have bids down in the 0.0002 range, and their posts are often made in the hope of getting those orders filled.
That's not going to happen, they were too slow when the opportunity was here.
But they keep dreaming.

Wild chaos theory:
Burnside shuts down btct after receiving information that Labcoin is indeed a scam. In an attempt to distance himself from the situation (and improve his legal defense) he shuts down btct after finding out.
UNlikely. Whether or not labcoin is a scam changes almost nothing about his liability. Its illegal to sell these shares, even if labcoin were a real enterprise.Bump. This is exactly what is going on. Burnside needs to know that we know this, and is provable beyond a reasonable doubt.

He's lawyered up, so he's well aware of what he may or may not be facing in the future in re: SEC et al. Much more aware than we are, no matter what it is you think "we know". I can pretty much guarantee that if they ever try to take any action against burnside, they're not going to shoot you a PM on bitcointalk for your input.

Why do you insist so much to threaten burnside with legal actions etc.?

ATL was 0.0002402, I was putting a bid at 0.0002302 when it rebounded. Went so fast I panic-bought at 0.0004 (then sold for a profit). It was actually pretty fun

Why do you insist so much to threaten burnside with legal actions etc.? People want to play the game as long as they are winning. Once they lose, they want someone to blame someone other than themselves.

If you are considering pressing charges against Burnside, I would advice you to seek legal counsel about your own position first. If you only purchased shares on btcst and you still hold everything you ever bought, you are most likely in the clear. However, if you sold any shares on the exchange, Im far less certain that would not make you guilty of the very same offense (selling unregistered securities).

As there is no contact from Labcoin at all these days and I miss the old countdown timer, could some kind hearted soul please post one which counts down to the end of trading for Labcoin? This would be very useful.

What we really need is an SEC investigation countdown timer.
Once that has reached zero and the investigation begins we can have a legal proceedings countdown timer counting down to the first day in court.
The final countdown timer can show when the Swede gets released from prison. That one will need years, months, weeks, as well as hours.
