What caused all the price drops?

I think there are many factors that make altcoin and bitcoin the price down. not just a factor from within the altcoin developer, factors from the outside can also affect.

all coin down because there is bad news in india country that seems circulation bitcoin banned in india and not only that moment this moment added with moment of china feast that make chinese want to sell and profit they get.

The price drop is because the fake news scares the newbies, they will sell their bitcoins, so it will continue to fall.

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and no doubt about it that bitcoin is the king of all crypto's. If bitcoin value price goes down altcoins also drops. Bitcoin facing so many issues but still standing and recovering. Some countries bans bitcoin by their authorities and that is the ultimate cause of bitcoin's fall. So many negative issues that makes people think that bitcoin is illegal and could gone forever. That's why many investors are afraid and panic selling occurs (FUD). the big factor that caused the price is down or up is from the people itself and the panic from the people. once the price is getting down, they are fast selling the coin without thinking the price will increase back. and if the price is getting up, they make fast buy and makes the price jumps to higher and this is happening in anytime especially if there is a pump group that gives information that they will make a pump for a coin. but the other that will cause the price is up and down is from the news that release in out there and attract people to take the action in the market.

Which causes all prices to fall :

-.The first cause is the statement of South Korean Government Plans to Ban Crypto Trade. It is known that the cryptocurrency trade in south korea reaches 20-30% of the overall coin trade worldwide. So with the government's threat to ban Crypto trade there raises investor concerns and immediately withdraws their investment.

In my personal opinion, one of the cause why Bitcoin and Altcoins dropped because of the prices that's so high then people choose to dump because they want to give gifts for their loved ones because this holiday season is very special for all the Christians around the world.

I don't think so because the money for gift is very small amount comparing with Bitcoin's value.

Its because of profit taking and taxes. The markets are up an extreme amount YOY and over 6 months. They are still up considerably from 3 months ago. Stop worrying and spend this time researching quality coins. I hope some of this junk that has been pushed recently dies and the quality coins rise late spring/early summer.

Many can be a possible reason. And one here is the whales, They are the reason why the prices  of altcoins and bitcoins are falling and rising today. Large amount of Bitcoins their hold. So they can manipulate a Coin too easily.

To me, the decrease of price would came from two reasons: transaction using cryptocurrency has been banned in some countries (Korea, China,...) and year end cut-off of whale.

Altcoins follow bitcoin, as bitcoin is the main trading pair to most altcoins. This is normal to see. The market is pushing through some bumps in the road, allot of FUD the past couple months. But rest assured, big things are coming! With all that being said, HODL!

I analyze a bit of news that has spread about bad bitcoin. This makes investors afraid. Thus the bitcoin value becomes decreased. As we know that bitcoin is a guide to another altcoin. So when bitcoin decreases, altcoin also decreases.

But do not worry, because now all the coins have recovered. and hopefully improve as before.

Other causes of price drops are being manipulated by whales,they are almost responsible of immediately dumping of the price value of potential coin,they are a group of people that have a large percent of a coins volume that manipulated the coin with a smaller total volume.
