I'm 50 % in active mining, 40 % in labcoin, 10 % in garden. Hopefully one of them will take off.

I'm sincerely confused why all the hype is with labcoin and not BTCGarden. What part of "we're gonna deploy 200TH by the end of October and then 300TH more by the end of the year" do people not understand?

Over 20% sold of the first tranche of 2 Million shares.

I expect it'll sell out over the next day or two.  It'll be interesting to see what price they release the 2nd 2Million shares at.
Anyone buying at higher than 0.016 will be taking a big risk that they release the next lot at only a tiny amount higher.

It seems strange to me that they haven't given some approximate indication of how much higher they might price the 2nd tranche... because without some idea, people won't be in any hurry to bid up prices.

That is because there will likely be delays (anyone can make lofty predictions like that) and the IPO is extremely expensive. Valuing this company at millions of dollars when they have nothing to show for it is ridiculous when Labcoin asked for only $700k.

Read Labcoin's IPO contract and BTCGarden's IPO contract.

Now, BTCGarden plans to deploy 200 TH/s in September with their first deployment (already paid for). IPO is paying for the second batch (300 TH/s), operating costs, and further R&D for 2nd gen chips (Layout/Tape Out planned within 2013).

Maybe it's just me but BTCGarden has made ambitious, but still realistic plans for the upcoming fall.

I doubt that the 2 million will be sold in couple of days, probably months.  Expect others will sell their shares at lower price.

It's a bit to start slinging "dirt" but read Labcoin's IPO contract and BTCGarden's IPO contract.

BTCGarden seems to be a better investment to me, but in short term people just want to make money quick, and Labcoin is cheap enough to make the money off of.

I am pretty positive that the rest will gone by tomorrow at most. It's impressive that 1/4 already gone without any advance "IPO start" notice. Guess what will happen when investors in US and EU wake up.

I'd say that's incredibly wishful thinking but we will see. It looks dead in the water to me.

Could you explain why? Again, the first chip batch is paid for.

Too busy to read through all replys, we might should give an ANN of IPO in advance , sry for any possible inconvenience.

and yes, it has begun :  https://btct.co/security/BTCGARDEN ,We've already put up 2,000,000 shares at the price 0.016BTC per share,  about 470,000 shares traded till now.

I think that in the long term this will be a better investment. I've put 30% in Labcoin and 70% in BTCGarden.

27% of the 1st share batch now sold.

Not exactly exciting - but still looks to me like they'll fill this batch in a few days.

For an IPO coming so soon after the BTC tractor beam that was the Labcoin IPO, it looks like a good start to me. More expensive, sure, but for anyone looking long term, it's another solid investment opportunity.
