There are different effective ways to promote ico but for me the best one is through social media. Let's be real here, almost all people around the world have some sort or use a certain social media platform. So if we do our promoting there we can reach a lot of audience and potential investors.

I think an ann thread is a good start, also try to make a few important announcements on twitter or fb, remember that we are in a globalized world and the best way to get information is through social media, also you could do some special promotions to attract the attention of investors quickly, marketing will be one of the most important tools for the success of an ICO, and the technical details come after you have an established base of future customers.

social media can work fine for promoting the ico, and if there are many participants who join in the ico, they can promote the ico and reach more audience from many countries. besides that, we can make an article which published on many websites, and this will reach more people to come and check the ico, and of course, this can attract more investor to join with the ico. there will be many more ways to promote ico, and the team projects can decide which ways that they want to use to promote their ico.
