ANN thread is the most robust, efficient and the most effective way to promote the ICO, in my opinion, in order for the ICO to gain followers (Investors), they should be well known in different platforms including the social media. Bounty campaigns is very well used in this purpose. Many advertising platform is used to advertise the ICO.

Ann Threads are quit good and effective. But I'm not sure in bounty because of bounty hunters with their fake accounts. There some positive and negative points.
Positive:

The best way is to start the bounty programme or to promote the project on different rating websites like ICOBench or Etherscan. Furthermore, it is extremely important to create a big and healthy community. Community members could also help to promote an ICO.
