Will ICO die in 2018?

My is prediction ICo won't die in 2018 because day by day too many altcoins are launching and that's are creating Internal coin offer. So i think in 2018 another new coin will come in crypto market and then ICo will start again. That's why my opinion is ICO won't die in 2018

I dont think that ICOs will die in 2018, because that would mean the end of innovation and technological advancement. ICOs in some cases are designed and developed to better the system.

I guess ICOs will still remain running in 2018. As I have observed in this forum's threads, I have read that some says, 2018 will be the year for ICOs or for Alternative cryptocurrencies, and I hope that it will be.

I don't think cryptos should be mixed with startups/kickstarters. Cryptos should be trustless, transparent and decentralized, ICOs are none of those things so using a blockchain platform doesn't really offer any benefits to them, in fact just giving a bad name to cryptos.

I dont think by the same way as you, icos are a good thing after all.

Maybe without them, there would not even be a quarter of all the altcoins that are on the top 20 at the moment.

Mate, I'm also of your view. 2018 would even see the springing up of new and numerous icos because cryptocurrencies are going to be the new revelation for money generation by next year.

ICO may not probably die but since scammers got detected I think people will become careful now in investing for an ICO and surely only few will make it in the market. I think those scammers will not make it by 2018 because investors now are getting more critics in choosing their ICO also with the current situation of most ICO they will need a good and credible promotions to attracts people and investors

I don't think they will, as long as the price of Bitcoin rises people will want to invest into ICO's so they can try to get the new Bitcoin.

I think the issue is the fact that because of this people are not investing into ICO's without looking into them, this fuels the amount of ICO's. This needs to change and the way it changes is through research. That way bad ICO's won't get investment.

Have come across related topics on this thread but the only answer I can give on this topic is that ICO cannot die in 2018 because of the whales in the crypto world, the whales use ICO as an avenue to make more money. Therefore I don't see ICOs going into extinction in 2018.

die? not, why? people are always find solution to growing problems of those scam ICOs but if you look at it very carefully this is actually a good opportunity for competition among ICOs, it will only raise the quality of the ICO and the standards will be more strict compared this year.

ICO concept is not likely to die because it gives people incentive things and people think that they can earn much money by participating token sale event. This behaviour will never end for the people and ICOs will maintain forever.

Surely ICO will not died in 2018, i am sure investors now more carefull to spend their money for Bright Future Project. And, i wonder no more Fund-Raising ICO again. It hurts investors trust

I personally don't think it will ever completely go away. I don't really see that being possible. But I do believe it's only a matter of time before it becomes more stringent on quality over quantity. Currently, quantity is running rampant for ICOs.
